IUI/IVF timings — Lean PCOS infertility
I have been off
contraception
for 3 years now, and whilst we haven’t been “trying” necessarily, at the same time we haven’t been careful either. If that makes any sense.

Feeling a little failed
She said she can't refer me to a specialist due to only trying 1 form of
contraception
(I have tried a numerous amount of pills). She has told me I have to have the coil fitted and see how I get on for 6 months and then maybe she will refer me.

B vitamin deficiency
I've seen online that being on the combined pill leads to a B vitamin deficiency. Is this true and how do we combat this?

When you are better and then worse
I think I was doing better over the last few months and then my doctor sticks me on Lexapro an I get an ear infection (unrelated but at the same time) These two actions have thrown me way off. I am off the lexapro but it really made for a tough month and the ear thing was taken care of by ENT. I am

Endo surgery (stage 4) advice!
Hi everyone! :) I got diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis by MRI 3 years ago and have been managing with running the pill through, and then just codiene since stopping the pill. It's deeply infiltrating in my bowel and I also have a large endometrioma on my ovary. They offered me big scary surgery

Surprising egg retrieval
Hi there, normally a silent reader but thought I would ask for peoples advice as I see how great you all are with sharing your experiences and sharing your knowledge. This morning I had my egg retrieval and very surprisingly they managed to retrieve 33 eggs. I am with the mild ivf clinic and was on 225

Combined pill
When on the combined pill and you take your 4 day break, how long does it take to stop bleeding once you restart taking the pill?

First month on Microgynon and no period?
I was on the depo injection for around 5 years, stopped around two years ago and went onto POP (desogestrel), I did have a one off 8 week bleed and nothing since. I have just done 21 days on Microgynon and now on my 6th day without taking the pill and no period yet? Is this ok? and would you expect to

Cancelled cycle - over developed follicle?
Hi gang I had a really fantastic response from you great people last time I thought I would post a development which we weren't expecting. I wonder if others have had a similar story. Forgive me if some of the terms are incorrect - such a lot to take in! We were all ready to start a second round of IVF

Recently diagnosed
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and I feel really lost. I did do research on it but reading about the associated fertility issues just seemed to upset me. My doctor didn't offer me the pill and said we should wait for my next blood test before we see whether I need it or not. I also was pretty happy

Combined pill no period
I started taking my pill the first day of my last period 15th April went on to have my 7 day break and no period. I still haven’t came on I’ve taken multiple pregnancy tests and all are negative I just feel really bloated Is this normal to miss a period surely if I was pregnant though it would show

Is my Endo Coming Back?
My only actual regret with Endo is that I didn’t suspect it sooner and therefore, didn’t spend my early adult life suppressing the disease! You don’t need a diagnosis, just a suspicion and you can treat yourself! A diagnosis changes nothing! Here’s an interesting link for those who have undergone unsuccessful

Progesterone??
Hi! I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice. I’m 22 and I was diagnosed with endo when I was 18, I’ve had 3 laparoscopies burning the endo and removing ovarian cysts. I’ve just been told to go on the pill to manage the symptoms. The last few months I’ve been in agony missing time off work

Contraception
Hi All, Does anyone with Hashimoto’s have any experience of hormonal
contraception
? I’ve got a copper coil but since having it my periods are 12 days long and heavy. I’ve always had issues with breakthrough bleeding on pills in the past - the mini pill made me have 100 day periods!

Yasmin pill
Hi, I’ve been taking the Yasmin pill for about 3 months now to try and help possible endometriosis. Spoke to my gynaecologist (very unhelpful) and they’ve now said to have 3 months worth before a withdrawal bleed which is fine. So I’ve missed my first week of when that bleed should be as I’ve continued

Struggling with un-diagnosed illness
Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting so feeling a bit nervous about it. I've been suffering from some un-diagnosed illness (or as the hospital staff like to call it "a mystery") for about a year now (I'm counting since my first A&E visit).
