First month on Microgynon and no period?

I was on the depo injection for around 5 years, stopped around two years ago and went onto POP (desogestrel), I did have a one off 8 week bleed and nothing since. I have just done 21 days on Microgynon and now on my 6th day without taking the pill and no period yet? Is this ok? and would you expect to bleed on the first ‘no pill’ or am I being inpatient?

Wanting to start a family next year and want to have my periods? What’s best to try and regain a so what normal period?

Any bleeds you would have on the combined pill are withdrawal bleeds and not your real menstrual bleeds. Some women do not have bleeds on their pill free week on the combined pill. If you want to see what your natural cycle is like, the only option is to stop using hormonal contraception and either use barrier methods like condoms, or a copper IUD , until you decide to try for pregnancy.
