Do you get weird signs or symptoms before an arrhythmia starts?
Just curious if anyone gets a weird feeling/sign/symptom before their arrhythmia starts? The doctors believe I have some form of SVT. Been trying to catch it for years. But after many failed attempts at event recorders etc they finally put in an implantable loop recorder. I was diagnosed with inappropriate

Struggling with un-diagnosed illness
Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting so feeling a bit nervous about it. I've been suffering from some un-diagnosed illness (or as the hospital staff like to call it "a mystery") for about a year now (I'm counting since my first A&E visit). I have had problems with my periods (bad pain, bloating

Hello all- first time poster here. I was only diagnosed with endo- a small area in the posterior cul-de-sac is affected- in February this year after 6 or 7 years of going to the doctors with period issues. Now, I am on my third attempt with the pill now (a different pill each time of course) and each

Endometriosis with mensuration
I'm 26 years old and virgin girl. I had been laprascopic surgery on 2018 September ( endometriosis 3rd stage 9cm cyst remove during surgery). Still I'm in birth control pills 21 tablet back to back for 42days. My problem is heavy bleeding on mensuration days. So I took again pill on 3rd day of period

Hopeless
Hi everyone, I'm feeling so alone, scared and confused. I was diagnosed with stage 2 endo December 2019 after a laparoscopy. I also had adenomyosis diagnosed after my internal scan in 2019. Since then my symptoms have got worse, I am back on the pill as the mirena didn't suit me and I feel I am cursed

Updates on ovaries and floppy nose
For background, had ovarian cysts and enlarged ovary. Been having endometriosis type symptoms and pain as well. Saw Gyn last week. Started progestin only birth control - low dose norethindrone. I must say, it makes me feel a lot better. My sleep feels more restful and I feel like I have a little more

Now what?
(I'm also on the implant and he said to go to a local family planning clinic as they are experts, but I'm not sure if he was sure on that, as he very openly said he didn't know much about PCOS/female
contraception
) I want to know what options are out there for PCOS suffers, any advice?

Copper coil help and advise please
I have had the copper coil since 2017 and rarely had a period. Over the past few months I have been getting periods which can last a few days and are either very light or quite heavy. The cramp seems to be worse and I have gotten spots on my face which I have never had before. My partner can sometimes

When you are better and then worse
I think I was doing better over the last few months and then my doctor sticks me on Lexapro an I get an ear infection (unrelated but at the same time) These two actions have thrown me way off. I am off the lexapro but it really made for a tough month and the ear thing was taken care of by ENT. I am

Took birth control out and now I feel like I can’t function
Good morning everyone. Recently I got my birth control taken out, and it’s been affecting work for me. Im new and have been there for a month, but this is my fourth day telling them I can’t come in. I’ve started to feel like this just on Friday. Usually I always feel anxious but since that day I have

Pred question.
Just wondering ... I take my pred dose in early hours of the morning and taking yogurt with it is not too much of an issue but not ideal at that time. I’m down to 2.5 mgs, which is a tiny piece of half a 5mg. Now I’m alternating with 2mgs, they are much larger. Is pred’s possible side-effect on the

Junctional Rhythm - Any other sufferers?
Hi Guys, Been a while since I posted but after a clear Echo, clear ECG and a 7 day holter I have been diagnosed with mostly NSR but occasional bouts of Junctional Rhythm, I'm a 29 year old female, not obese not overly active but I try to exercise semi-regularly and do run about after my little children

If Progesterone only contraception is so much safer than Combined Hormonal contraception, that why use CHC at all?
I've browsed through the FSRH UK medical eligibility criteria and POP has less restrictions than CHC at every medical condition. I understand that CHC deals with pain, PMS and amount of bleeding, other than cases where these are severe issues, why would anyone recommend CHC?

Should I be pushing and explore what could my pain be instead of assuming it’s endometriosis
Since have my c-section last April I have been suffering with bloat, lower back pain, pain ful ovulation, heavy periods! The pain is awful all month long. The bloat is causing so much discomfort. I got referred to the gynaecologist and he believes it’s endometriosis he’s put me on the pill and wants

OCD and hormonal birth control
Does anyone else find that taking hormonal birth control pills affects their OCD? This is the second time I’ve attempted to start taking one- first time was in 2017 before I’d been diagnosed with OCD and I only lasted 3 months before I felt depressed and unlike myself and had to stop taking the pill.

Stroke survivors with Endometriosis?
Hi, today I saw a consultant Gynaecologist who told me I have Endometriosis and a large Hydrosalpinx ... he said normally they would like to operate to remove my fallopian tube and ovary and surgery to treat my Endometriosis along with hormonal contraceptives. However, as soon as he realised that I had
