Coming off the Pill
Stage 3 Endometriosis, been on the Pill (Mercilon for 4+ years ) been off since end of April. My skin is awfulllll Came off the pill as I don’t want it to contribute to stalling my fertility chances now I finally have my diagnosis. I had no idea what stage I was and now I’m stressed about not being

I was lost too..
Hello there I truly feel your pain. After I gave birth to my daughter in 2008 I started to have alot of new pain and bleeding. Was diagnosed with endometriosis. The bleeding was severe and drained me of energy. I was put on numerous contraceptive pills, implant, coil nothing seemed to work. 8 years later

MRI - what can I expect
hi, I’ve got an MRI next week as my consultant thinks I have endo stuck on my bowel. I’m at a specialist centre so have been told they will hopefully be able to see this if it’s there as I’m trying to hold off on surgery for now as currently my symptoms are quite well controlled on the pill I’m taking

Hi everyone. I'm new here but wondered whether anyone has had a similar experience to me. A few years ago I was on the contraceptive pill, when I noticed that my periods were getting later and later. I used to get the normal bleed during the seven day break of not taking the pill, but then I started

Spotting while on the pill to stop periods - cancer risks??😱
After taking the pill for 5 months, I have spotted for a month and had to stop taking the pill for a week (triggered periods). Then, again four months later, spotted for a week and had to stop taking the pill for a week (triggered periods, which led to pneumothoraces for the first time of my life). I've

Endo, Mini pill and symptoms!!
Hi all! I have been taking the mini pill (desogestrel) for 3/4 years now, it stops my periods completely and worked wonders at the start but for the past 18 months, I am experiencing symptoms around the time that (I think) my period would be due including pelvic, lower back and groin pain, acid reflux

Rosuvastatin Calcium 20mg for High Cholesterol
I picked up my Rx on May 2, 2023 and just yesteday the pharmacy called to see if I needed a refill. I fessed up and told her I had not started taking it because I've been in too much pain over the last month with diverticulitis, pelvic girdle and back spasms to risk more pain (as it's known to cause

24 follicles - 13 eggs
I just had my second retrieval. The first I had 20 follicles at my last scan and they retrieved 18 eggs, 16 mature. This time I responded better to the meds (possibly because I was not on birth control before stuns). I had 24 follicles at my last scan before trigger but they only collected 13 eggs

Has anyone had a period longer than 7 days? 🤔
Hello everyone, Keen to know your thoughts on this as I await a GP appointment. A quick backstory: I’m 26 years old and have PCOS. From aged 15 to 20/21. I was on the pill to regulate a period since I’d never had one ever before. Since stopping I’ve had a period 16 times, so that’s 16 times since

In-active endometriosis
I had laproscopy 4 days ago, they removed a chocolate cyst and found in-active endometriosis by my ovary. They didn't remove this inactive endometriosis, what is in-active endometriosis and will that reactivate? I'm currently on the pill for symptoms but concerned when I come off the pill symptoms will

Being Ignored and feeling crazy!
Hi all women suffering with period issues, I'm 18 and have been having issues since my first period, I was so ashamed of what was happening to me because I knew that not being able to walk, bleeding through multiple pads and having to stay in bed during my menstruation due to having no energy and too

what would you do?
Hello on this lovely sunny day! Please can I ask for some advice? I’m 5 years on after being diagnosed with sero positive RA. I am meant to start medication number 7, nowish. I’m reluctant. Most medications make me feel very poorly 🤒 I started out with all this, I believe due to a contraceptive

Canker Sores & Endo - Help!
Hi Everyone, I'm using this as a last resort because I wanted to know if anyone else deals with the same problem. I've had endometriosis for years, but in the last two years I've been dealing with constant canker sores (mouth ulcers). They happen throughout the month and are so painful. Sometimes

Exhausted.
I am 30 years old. I started menstruating at the age of 10. When I was around 14, I would have these random "attacks" of abdominal pain that left me crippled. There have been occasions my mum had to lift me out of the bath, because I felt like my insides had totally twisted. Now, I shower. But there

Graphic photo!
more photos because I’m still confused on if this is implantation or not. for starters my period is VERY irregular so counting on that is not an option for me. i had unprotected sex and while I’m on the pill it was the very last week where I was suppose to be on my period. But I didn’t get my period

Hormonal Acne - Something finally worked for me!
Hi everyone! I'll try keep this as short as possible. I suffered from acne pretty badly around the age of 11 for a few years, took Roaccutane, it cleared up, medication did it's job. Fast forward to now, I'm 30 ish, lovely basic good quality skincare, no smoking, alcohol, good diet (or so I thought
