Just a touch away: CT-optimal touch perception and its influence on pain and itch
Psychologist Larissa Meijer has discovered that gentle caresses from a partner can provide relief from chronic pain. This treatment has no side effects and can be done at home. It should normally be free too 🙂 Meijer has demonstrated the effect of light stroking on pain and itchiness in Parkinson's

Sourcing levothyroxine without prescription in the UK
Hello, As per my reply to another post earlier, the endo that I saw regarding adrenal insufficiency recently included a throw-away line in the subsequent letter to my GP recommending that the levothyroxine that I have been taking for 12 years be stopped. Unfortunately, the GP instantly removed levothyroxine

requesting a IgA anti-TTG test in the UK
I have coeliac disease. The other day I talked to a doctor (over the phone, of course) to discuss results of my blood test. I then said that I would like to request a IgA anti-TTG test for my son (as you know, this is done through a blood test). I was told that now doctors can no longer request this

Ivermectin may help with cancer treatments
Studies of various chronic myeloid leukemia cell lines show that ivermectin kills these lines by inducing mitochondrial dysfunction and the production of free radicals. In mice with leukemia, ivermectin increases the influx of chloride ions in the cells, promoting cell death. When ivermectin is combined

Seven months ago my PSA was 0.06. Three months ago PSA at my URO’s office was 0.11. I asked him if xtandi was beginning to fail me, he would not give me a answer. March 11th PSA at my MO’s office PSA was < 0.1. MO was happy with that number. I get checked again the 25th of this month at my URO. I

Possible over treatment with Levothyroxine
Hi everyone, I’m new to the site. It was suggested that I make a post following a comment I made replying to another post as I may benefit from some guidance on my current treatment. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid 9 years ago. I have been treated with Levothyroxine throughout. Since 2020
