wondering if there is anyone on this protocol while still having their prostate in place. What are the side effects and PSA profile? Thank you.

I am on Nubeqa and 6-month Lupron. Started Nubeqa mid-June last year. Experiencing no particular side effects other than manageable daily fatigue beginning in mid afternoons. I did have 4 courses of Docetaxal with my last infusion being in late September. My crummy old prostate is still in place, at 84+ I’m too old to have it removed.

PSA has decreased steadily while on Nubeqa; presently at 0.05.

My husband has been taking Nubeqa for almost 2 years along with Eligard injections. You can read his history in the bio. He still has prostate. The PSA remains undetectable. The side effects he has experienced are from the Eligard. I hope this helps.

My insurance company turned me down They stick close to NCCN Guidelines and it is only approved as a part of triplet therapy so far on it. Better insurance is more likely to approve.

I've been on Nubeqa and Orgovyx for at least 1.5 yrs, prostate still in place, oligometastatic, 3+ yrs since diagnosis, PSA undetectable. Side effects suck, but I can't necessarily blame the Nubeqa, just typical ADT effects (fatigue, low motivation, moodiness, apparent arthritis).

I was on it for nine months and it took me from a psa over 100 to under 1. It then recently failed and I have switched to parp inhibitor. I hope it lasts longer for you. I had extreme fatigue that later went away.

Starting April 2023 I take Nubeqa daily which replaced my daily Casodex. I still take the 3 month Lupron shot. My Psa is slowly lowering and no serious side effects except I'm getting sillier each day. As far as my Prostate is concerned I donated it to my female ex-wife to use for her transplant.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
