ANASTROZOLE 1 MG TABLET
Has anyone tried this as alternative to Letrozole; my joint pain is debilitating at times (typically the week off Ibrance)? My ONC said there is another one to try before opting for the once monthly shots (I forget the name of that)? Also some talk of brain fog due to lack of estrogen I think—does that

Hormone help?
I know a couple of people on here are pretty good with hormones, but I can't remember who. I'm hoping someone could tell me a couple of things. I've had the following results from day 4 of my cycle: FSH: 6.16 (3.5-12.5) Oestradiol 177 (45.4-854) Testosterone 1.46 (0.29-1.67) And progesterone taken on

Cerazette for Endometrioma?
Hello all! Me again! I have just come back from the doctors to discuss my follow up scan of my ovary. It has grown 1cm in 6weeks (gone from 2.4cm to 3.4cm) is that a lot? Anyway I’ve been referred to a gynaecologist and in the meantime I have been put on the mini pill cerazette. Has any one had any

Help Please! Need a Good Doctor.
Does anyone have any good experiences with a doctor that can look at the "whole picture" . I have issues with Thyroid, Adrenal Fatigue and Oestrogen Dominance. I am in the Surrey/Sussex/Berkshire/Hampshire area but willing to travel further if needed. Pretty desperate here, I couldn't pick up my 2

Have I developed "doctor phobia" or what...?!
Today I saw my new GP for a follow-up visit. My old one moved away and I stopped going to the practice for no particular reason. On Sept 6, during my first visit since July '17, my BP was slightly raised (170/92, heart rate 90). I was put on perindopril 5 mg daily and told to come back today. Interestingly

Does anyone have any info on endometriosis and peri menopause/menopause?
I am currently peri menopausal and I’m experiencing symptoms in relation to the lowering of oestrogen. I have not had a period for a year, I’ve had dry eyes, hair loss, forgetfulness, mind fog, emotional and low mood. My GP recommend St Johns Wort and isoflavon herbal supplements, which I’ve been on

Have I gone overactive?!
Can anyone please help with my latest results? I'm confused! I saw a gyne doctor the other day regarding pelvic pain and she said that it could be down to my thyroid being overactive. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in my early 20s, and Hashimoto's six years ago, but she thinks I've tipped

Hot Flushes
Hi, it's been a while since I posted, I have been following the advice given and support from members. I am still in what Drs call sub clinical Hashimotos Thyroiditis, still not being treated for it as my labs are all in range. My TSH goes between 3.39 to 6.03 currently it is 4.39. Same labs and ranges

Sex hormones labs back - feedback please
I posted the other day about how to take estrogen and progesterone - continually vs cyclically - and now my latest labs are back (blood drawn on day 21 of cycle so luteal phase - I'm 50, my periods have been irregular for the past year). Ref ranges refer to "luteal phase" in the first brackets and "menopause

Dutasteride and Tamoxifen (T->DHT blocker and SERM)
Are these contraindicated? I have prostate cancer and am doing cycles of casodex/dutasteride/zytiga, then estrogen patches/zytiga, then testosterone injections/dutasteride. Should Tamoxifen only be used during the estrogen patch/zytiga portion of the cycle? Thanks

Aromatase & CRPC cells
New study below [1]. ERα is the alpha estrogen receptor [ER]. In healthy prostates it is found in stromal cells. ERbeta is found in healthy epithelial cells, but there is a switch to ERα as PCa develops. ERα promotes growth. Aromatase [CYP19A1] is the enzyme that converts testosterone [T] to

Fenbendazole Just Might be Working–Part 2
So, if it is working (see Part 1), my question is what would be the best course to follow when I am on ADT holiday waiting to see if PSA comes back (lupron due to wear off in November)? I take the view that if I am cured, some extra treatments are not a big deal, and, if I am not (more likely IMO),

BAT like therapy
I have G9, hormone sensitive prostate cancer. Had an RP in 12/2018. Estrogen therapy dropped my T down to zero. And my PSAs remained at zero. I did this for 5 months but stopped because of the side effects (felt great mentally but no libido and strength loss to the point that I wondered how long I could

J Stent: How long can men keep using stent if TURP is contraindicated? Stage 4 man with mets.
I am a new poster but an old lurker. I was dx Stage 4 16 years ago with Bone Mets and told I had 6 months to 2 years to live. I just retired from being a social work consultant in a school district and up until now PCA has been a virtual disease and my quality of life has been good. I am 74 yo Stage

BATlike therapy
My thought. Please critique this plan. I am not PrC (had RP in 12/2018 and PSAs have been zero since then). Gleason 9, one local lymph node, positive margin. This is my tentative plan (reduce risk of CrPc and increase libido for a little bit each year). 6 monthsBicalutamide, Dutasteride, Zytiga 2

Changing from the combined pill to POP
So I’ve been advised by my GP to consider changing from Lucette to a POP. She advised this as there is a history of breast cancer in the family and so thinks I shouldn’t have a pill with oestrogen in. I’m a little apprehensive about doing this, can anyone share their experience if they have done this

Living in agony
Does anyone have any experience with severe vaginal atrophy in their 70 . My mum has been given every oestrogen cream and pesseries around . No one seems to want to help her . She’s in agony and sits rocking in her chair , crying and unable to have a life x does anyone know if a hysterectomy would work
