Are estrogen patches safe?
I would like to try it estrogen patches for a period of 3 months and see how my psa does. I have a few questions please on this subject : 1) is it safe? 2) does it give a false reading in terms of slowing the psa but the cancer itself is growing? 3) why Medical Oncologists DONT like to prescribe it?

Estrogel and fat thighs!
Hi Guys, just wanted to know if anybody else has the same problem with Estrogel. I went on it about 4 years ago and noticed a gradual weight gain in my thighs, bum and stomach, then about 5 months ago I noticed lumpy fat deposits on my thighs (which look awful), I couldn't understand why this was happening

Successful taper and hormones.
I am now on 3.25/2.5 every second day, so pleased that this low dose works for me. I have had pain in a hip and a shoulder since april and extra heartbeats since start of september. Low energy and quite a lot of anxiety in addition to that. I have had my cortisole measured and that was good, all other

What exactly IS Normal???? I have NO idea!!!
*Sighs* No such thing as "NORMAL" for me... I was born without a thyroid gland, which was discovered when I was 4 months old.. This occured because when my mother was pregnant with me, they were giving her thyroid supplements... the consensus was that She over compensated and I didn't develop a Thyroid

Elevated Oestradiol
I’ve been suffering from frequent heavy periods and constant spotting for over a year. Around a year ago I had some blood tests and a pelvic scan - pelvic scan clear but my bloods showed my oestradiol to be elevated at 600 ( top of range 400). My problem has continued, I’m covered in acne and irritable

Medical Oncologist in Southern New England
In an unrelated post recently, I learned of my aPC ignorance or naivety in not having a Medical Oncologist oversee my treatment. I’m post ERT and completed my original 18mo ADT and am currently being monitored by both my Uro and RO. I don’t see surgery or radiation in my foreseeable future prompting

OTD tomorrow
So I'm due to test tomorrow and starting to get the usual nerves because it's nice still thinking there's a slim chance I am actually pregnant. I stupidly caved and did an early test on 6dp5dt which was negative and felt so gutted. Weirdly after that I felt more relaxed because I'd almost accepted it

Hormones - update
I posted last month about trying the pill to try to regulate my cycle and reduce my flares. Although I knew there was a good chance it might not work I thought I'd give it a go after chatting to the GP. The GP felt that as long as do not have the markers for sticky blood it should not be a problem to

Seen hormone specialist, more confused than ever...!
So I've been for my long overdue annual visit to my hormone doctor in Belgium and I have to admit I received quite a lot of confusing and even contradictory advice that I would love for members to comment on: First of all, when it comes to my massive weight gain (+25 kg) since being treated with high

Any advice for fertility show.
So I've got to tickets for the fertility show. My friend said she went two years ago and came back feeling awful. She said it just felt like sales reps being insensitive and trying sell he things she doesn't need. She said very few clinics sent their consultants. Is this experience shared by others?

Oestrogen dominance testing

Help with stopping T3 and new results
Hi everyone, further to my (rather long-winded!) post yesterday (below), I've just got my latest results, which I've attached. I'm no expert but I'm guessing my FT3 range does suggest I am currently over-medicating? Thanks in advance! Hello lovely people, I went to see an NHS endo yesterday and he's

Should I stop T3?
Hello lovely people, I went to see an NHS endo yesterday and he's just called with the results and echoed what I was told by a gyne a few weeks ago - that I may be overmedicating and he's told me to stop taking T3. I'm currently on 125mg Levothoryxine and 12.5mg of Cytomel. I don't have the readings

Update on starting Estradiol Patches for RT ADT
I started Estradiol Patches (4 X 0.1mg/24hr twice weekly patches; one patch changed out daily) 5 days ago. This is for short-term ADT as adjuvant for IMRT of oligometastatic disease of the left pelvic lymphatics identified on Ga-PSMA scan at UCLA. One week in and 10 days more until the RT (60Gy/30fx)

Fabrys disease
Ok I looking to use this app to help me find people whom have fabrys disease I was diagnosed three years ago from having a gene test years after my father was diagnosed with it. Thinning hair - supplements??
Good morning all I thought I would ask you lovely people if you can advise on your experience with supplements. I had 8/8 oestrogen positive breast cancer. Currently on zoladex and letrozole for the past 2 years and will continue for a bit. I'm trying to tackle one depressing aspect of my life at a time
