How did you have access to estrogen patches if outside trial?
For those outside UK patch trial doing estrogen patches INSTEAD of ADT, how did you have access to the patches?

FET this month 🤞🏼
I have my first FET (of this round) at the end of this month - start progynova and intralipids next week. It’s donor egg embryo using my friends eggs and my husbands sperm, and we are transferring a 5bb at the end of September. Eeeeek!!! I’m so excited but need to get signed off work a few days before

First day of treatment for Endometriosis and PMDD (Synarel HRT)
Hi guys, Today is my first day of treatment for PMDD and Endometriosis. I’ve been prescribed with Synarel nasal spray and an oestrogen HRT which is supposed to simulate a hysterectomy, if I react well the doctor will go ahead and give me one. I know you shouldn’t, but of course I’ve been online reading

Gallbladder/Hashimoto/gastro problems link
Hi, I've been reading up about the link between gallbladder and liver problems and hashimotos. I have Hashimotos, have just started estrogen only HRT and have been suffering intermittent right shoulder pain during the night for the last 6months. I have also been suffering from an increase in gastro

Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, Calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin K, etc.
Postmenopausal bone loss has long been recognized as a major problem. It always amused me that women were told to take calcium when their bones were leaching calcium. When osteopenia or osteoporosis occurs following the menopause shouldn't one suspect a hormonal issue? A 1988 paper [1] reported that

Side effects with estrogen patches (instead on lupron or firmagon)
For those on estrogen patches what are your side effects: tired, brain fog, memory, muscle loss, hot flashes, other? Any differences fr those taking before lupron or firmagon?

Using estrogen and progesterone cyclically or continuously...interested in other people's experiences!
So, I wanted to know if anyone here has gone from using E and P cyclically to using them continuously, and what difference that has made (if any). I'm asking because I emailed my hormone doctor a few months ago to tell her my periods seemed to have stopped (right after I turned 50 in December), and ask

Fertilisation fail
I’m a 34 yo currently undergoing my 5th round of IVF. We’ve got 4 PGS tested embryos on ice, and I’ve had one unsuccessful transfer of a 3 day embryo on my first round and subsequently changed our approach to an embryo banking one after a sudden change in my AMH (at last test it was 3.4). For all rounds

Neupogen wash
Hi does anyone have any experience with the neurogen wash and know where I could have this. I have lining issues waiting for a FET but my lining won’t get above 5mm despite 10mg estrogen support. I have heard about this wash but my clinic looked blank when I asked about it. I’m in East Midlands x

Experiences with Lo-Estrin 20 vs Mercilon
Just wondering if anyone has tried Lo-Estrin 20 or Mercilon (both combined pills with low oestrogen)? Over the past year and a half I’ve been experimenting with different treatments to see what works for me. I tried the Mirena coil (which didn’t agree with me at all), I tried purely herbal/natural remedies

MEMORY LOSS, WAS IT CAUSED BY THE ESTROGEN PATCHES
Following a positive biopsy indicating that I had prostate cancer (3+4) in late 2013, I began a long ADT treatment protocol that included a combination of Lupron, Casodex, Avodart, Xgeva and Metformin until Februaru 2015. I then switched from Lupron to Estrogen Patches and continued the Avodart and Metformin

Cycle estrogen and casodex/dutasteride
I have been on estrogen patches to lower testosterone. Very effective. Undetectable T and PSAs are 0. No depression. But zero libido, loss of strength, and lower RBC (I think that 0 T is going to cause those regardless of how you get there). So I am going on a combo of casodex and dutasteride. Casodex

Endometriosis and combined pill
Hi all. I just wanted to check whether it is ok to be prescribed the combined pill when we have been diagnosed with endo? I am a bit perplexed as I would have thought that we should avoid adding more oestrogen in our body? Thank you.

I apologize to the estrogen gender for some of my judgements and thoughts in my lifetime up to now.
I apologize to the estrogen gender for some of my judgements and thoughts in my lifetime up to now. I sat there stupidly staring at the TV through at least 5 minutes of commercials - bottom of the hour - tears running down my face. "What's wrong?" she asked me. "Nothing" I mumbled. "Must be something

Estradiol - side effects & weight gain?
I was wondering if anyone gets any side effects from the estrogen tablets? I am on double dose plus estrogen patches and I always seem to get palpitations, a blurry head/ headaches & a slight shortness of breath when I take them as well as feeling sickly unless it is just a coincidence? Also I am convinced

Best treatment for Osteoporosis in the hips.
have been told that Prolia (denosumab) is less effective for reducing hip fractures and increases infection risks. Can Prolia increase bone density in the hips (i.e. Femur neck left and femur neck right) and reduce the risk of hip fracture after a fall or should my mother go for Reclast / Aclasta (zolendronic

low estrogen causing uti's continually
I have low estrogen causing uti's continually. My problem is that the local vaginal estrogens (3 different kinds so far) cause unbearable side affects. I feel I'm allergic or sensitive to the other chemical ingredients. I'm very sensitive to drugs. What on earth can I do. Down there needs estrogen to

Xtandi (enzalutamide) hacks
I've been on enzalutamide a little over a year now. It does the trick. My PSA has been undetectable until recently - and that's on two pills a day. I started out with four but needed my brain to earn a living (I'm an engineer). I'm a fitness guy. I road bike, mountain bike, or lift weights in the gym
