Active surveillance or not for localisedprostate cancer
Glesson 3+4, dre normal, psa 4.2, no symptoms, grade T2 Value now time quality of life and could go for the surveillance, treatment would be radiotherapy and possible hormone therapy with side effects not to be laughed at. Anyone else on active surveillance?

Had cancer new I could fight that off but it feels like I have no energy left if my results are positive from my radiotherapy treatment. Can anyone give me any advise on how to get over this?

Gas pain
hello, I have cirrhosis and liver cancer due to Hep c. I’m waiting for radiotherapy ablation and hoping to be listed following a 3 phase ct scan. I’m worried this may show more cancer that MRI doesn’t show. Also I get pain if I get any wind it travels up my back, sometimes feel slight pain in esophagus

Flomax and Me
How do you know when you can go off of flomax? Long term side effects? I'm 3 months out from my radiation therapy at Kaiser. My flomax script was over at 6 weeks post radiation! Then, my urination was very painful, demanding and frequent. My doctor had no comment other than this was a result of the

Dad has PC in pelvic nodes ? Is he on correct treatment
Dad is now 73. Lives in Sydney, Australia. Ethnicity is Caucasian. PC history below: 2020 May: PSMA test and rising PSA at 4 give rise to biopsy. Reveals Gleason 4+3 stage 2b. 2020 June: Ends up getting robotic RPC. In post surgery biopsy PC did just breach Prostate capsule. But margins negative.

review update- scores on the doors
Hi everyone so the results were NSCLC STAGE 3 , 3 lymph nodes activated along windpipe , but no spread …T3 n3 m0 . Sadly , I just missed out on it being operable though because of those blumming lymph’s …. so it looks like Chemo and radiotherapy combined or sequential … still awaiting markers for suitability

GK/CK radiotherapy
Hi all. I was diagnosed with a 1cm AN following an MRI in February. I had the follow up MRI last month which showed it’s now got a cyst on it and is 1.5cm. I’m being referred to Royal Marsden for GK/CK. Any suggestions as to how I can prepare for this, please?

Legal issues when/if you tell your employer you have PC and need an extended treatment?
I'm trying to get my radiation treatment scheduled (combo brachytherapy + 5 weeks of xray beam (IMRT?). Are there any recommended resources around protections from being let go by your employer due to the time off I might need? The company I work for is based in California but I work full time remote

I have just completed 12 month ADT and have my annual meeting with Consultant on Monday. Had RP 2 years ago with recurrence 12 months ago in one lymph node. Origonal plan was radio therapy and 12 to 18 months of ADT. Following previous advice on here it seems 2 years ADT offers best outcome. I have

I started Lupron about a month ago and will start Zytiga next week so maybe I’m just being impatient but, man I’m having very real dull pain in my T2 vertebrae where the cancer lit up.
