Pain Relief
Hi all Can “anyone” offer me some advice as I’m at the “end of my tether” with pain! I’ve had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair. I’ve had a Shoulder Rotator Cuff Repair. I’ve had a Laminectomy for Severe Spinal Stenosis which unfortunately failed and is now worse than before the Surgery! I

I am now able to tolerate antibiotics again after my nerves healed
Hello! I just want to give this update about my situation. I hope people on here find this because my situation was a nightmare and I think this can help people who are confused and not sure what to do or if they'll ever be able to tolerate antibiotics again (TL;DR: you will be able to if you can heal

hi everyone hope you all had a good Christmas, I was diagnosed with AF in November so still learning lots from this forum. I am on edoxaban 60mg and Bisoprolol 2.5 as PIP which I have been taking approx every 7 days. I wanted to ask about taking cod liver oil and other vitamins, as I read that fish oil

Vitamins and Supplements
I am in the throws of reading Chris van Tulleken's book Ultra-Processed People. It has been an eye opener. Not that one hasn't been aware of the harms of processed food but perhaps one has been unaware at how extensive it is and also how seemingly malicious for corporate gain? What does come out is

Vitamin A - retinol.
Dr. John Campbell posted a video about how low vitamin A (retinol) levels predispose a person to experience pneumonia from the Mycoplasm pneumoniae which is currently at near epidemic levels among children in northern China. No surprise here to be honest considering the severe lockdowns. Children have

Nail changes? Pale nails.
Hi, I have Hashimoto's and for the last few years, I've slightly overmedicated with levothyroxine though my endo was happy to do so, as I felt better. I noticed recently that I have what looks like the start of Terry's nails - pale (pale not completely white) nail beds with a dark pink line before

Biotin
Hi please can you tell me how much biotin would affect blood test results. I am waiting for a doctors appointment , they have told me it will be between 2 and 4 weeks, but could be sooner. I am currently taking B complex supplement which contains biotin. I know the guideline is don't take for 7 days.

Advice on medication
Over the last couple of weeks I have had pains in my stomach and for longer than that regular bladder problems. Always feeling I need to go to the toilet. I am on 3.5 mg of prednisolone and am wondering if it has anything to do with the other pills I am taking each day. 1 -20 mg omeprazole, 1 - 1000

Blood Test for vits (and thyroid)
Hello all. Following advice from SlowDragon, got GP to agree to Vit testing as T3 low and as SlowDragon though they would, they drew blood for Thyroid levels , too! Must say here, too, after GPS lowered my Levo, because I had too many hypo symptoms return, I upped the dose from 175 to 200 as on 200

Need advice about T3 levels
I dont have any symptoms I would describe as problematic except for feeling cold all the time, very cold hands and feet but then I have lost an awful lot of weight which apparently can make you feel
cold
(
common
thing amongst us losers) Does anyone have any advice, they were private tests just done

Why I bought a Scooter
Had to ensure was given early appointment as shorter exposure to lot of people in waiting area meant I had less exposure to
common
cold
etc, as I’m very vulnerable. This meant had long time in near stationary traffic, and had to pay expensive parking charges for car.

Symptoms suddenly taking a turn for the worse
Hello everyone. I am new to the forum, and have some questions to ask, but also want to share my RLS story, as well as some things that I have found helpful in living with RLS. I have had RLS for over 40 years. At first it was fairly easily controlled with a good run or long walk, and later with magnesium

A few weeks ago I had a text to arrange my annual COPD review. This is normally with the practice nurse who can prescribe medications too. I was surprised to be given a Doctor appointment. I am mild COPD and was taking Salmeterol and Carbocisteine. It seemed quite effective. The doctor advised that I

Fibromyalgia help! Please
Hiya, I was wondering if anyone knows of anything that can help symptoms from fibromyalgia, anything that isn't hard medication, I have heard cod liver oil, tumeric and magnesium. I want to know any thoughts on this or anything else that people have found that works. Anything and information at all

Anyone taken this as a capsule or the natural ingredients I've read quite a bit about these ingredients and they seem to possibly help with copd symptoms. Could anyone enlighten me whether its worth buying the manufactured capsules please ? X

My Mucusy
Summer cold, I got this from this person, I was out in the rain, allergies.
common
cold
etc. In my many attempts to get a competent diagnosis my blood would be tested and my white blood cell count would be a little low and I would be given antibiotics for what ever was in fashion at the time.
