Saw cat scan of lungs for the first time, but not sure how to interpret them.
Yesterday, I saw my chest cat scan for the first time. I was at a consultation with a neurosurgeon regarding a spinal cord stimulator. My rheumatologist told me I had only some minor scarring in the bottom of my lungs when he cut my prednisone from 10 MG to 5 MG, but the cat scan did not look like minor

Cod liver oil and Eliquis?
My eye doctor put me on cod liver oil capsules but I’ve heard they can thin the blood and I’m also on Eliquis. Any thoughts?

Thank you everyone for your repsonses, I am most grateful for your taking time to respond. Passive vaping: an impending threat to bystanders.
Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), also known as vapes, are gaining popularity among youths in many parts of the world, including the US and Europe. These young vapers are often unaware their e-cigarettes contain nicotine, an addictive substance that is also present in tobacco cigarettes. Little

I said I'd write this post as it may or may not help anyone considering taking this medication to make a decision. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in 2016, having being diagnosed coeliac in 2015. My t score at the time was -2.5 in my Spine. I also had osteopenia in my hips. I was advised then to go

COVID-19 is NOT a live vaccine.
The virus used as the vector is called an adenovirus, and it usually causes the
common
cold
in monkeys. It has been modified so it cannot replicate. Therefore, you are not able to become ill from either the adenovirus or COVID-19 from this vaccine."

Unravelling the mystery that makes viruses infectious.
Researchers have for the first time identified the way viruses like the poliovirus and the
common
cold
virus ‘package up’ their genetic code, allowing them to infect cells.

Vaccines - AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer - Which one for CLL Patients.
As the latter 2 manufacturers are mRNA, the first (The AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine is a genetically modified
common
cold
virus of infected chimpanzees). She therefore instructed me NOT to receive the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine as this is a weakened (or attenuated) form of the germ.

With all the focus on coronavirus, let’s not forget the other respiratory viruses.
These viruses range from the mildly annoying, such as those that cause the
common
cold
, to the potentially deadly, such as influenza.
