What does it mean?
I'm slightly embarrassed to be asking strangers on the internet, but I'm a little frustrated by the lack of information given by the doctors. My dad (63) just got diagnosed - Gleason score 8 - and after a new scan they've concluded there's two mets - one in the pelvic lymph node and one in the seminal

Buprenorphine and antidepressants
I have had RLS for 50 years and depression right along with it. Wellbutrin has worked well, but I still get periods of severe depression on it. Since discontinuing the Pramipexole 3 months ago, the depression has been very severe. Not sure if was stopping the Pramipexole or starting the Bup. has anyone

ADT IS DONE. NEXT?
Lupron and Zytiga will have completed 2 years of each in June. I've read some continue Lupron for 3 years or longer. How do you know how long to take? Monitor testosterone and PSA how often? 2 or 3 months?

Help boosting thyroid without medication?
Hello all I have posted before as my thyroid function is poor but always comes back in range (my TSH never rises even with low levels) so no chance of medication on the NHS (other than statins for high cholesterol which I refuse). I did some recent tests TSH 1.95 (0.27-4.2) T4 14.6 (12-22) T3

Exercise making it worse?
Hi everyone, I have a question about exercise and endo. So basically I've been pretty much bedbound all of last year with rare weeks of being able to function, but lately I've experience a good couple of months of feeling better and being able to live! (Don't get me wrong still in pain but manageable

Constipation is a known issue with the Orgovyx
I've been on Orgovyx (Relugolix) for around 2.5 years now. and find myself getting increasingly constipated. It's the most tenacious SE. My labs are all stable and my PSA is stable at <0.02. But I'm now on 4 types of laxatives and next am planning on getting an enema and trying that. I have an appt with

How do you know if you're developing cysts?
I've just been diagnosed with PCOS with a low SHBG, <12 follicles in both ovaries, normal FAI and ovaries are normal size and volume.I just had a few questions... What does the amount of follicles mean? Are this mini cysts? How do you know if a cyst is growing? Is painful and is there any way of reducing

Does this mark the beginning of castration resistance?
Hi all, I have been quietly reading all of your posts and comments in the background since my dad's diagnosis with Stage IV adenocarcinoma (Gleason 9 (4+5)) with distal bone metastases in September 2022. My dad's PSA at diagnosis was 150. He is 64. Since May 2023, dad has been on monthly Degarelix

Diet for ADT
(Duplicate post from Advanced Prostate Cancer). What diet should I be following while on ADT for the next two years? Guidelines from handout sheets are contradictary and unclear. I have been on Orgovyx for almost three months, starting on February 27, 2024. My PSA has dropped from 9.2 to 1.2 to 0.9

Are endocrinologists of any help after ADT?
After ADT, my MO told me that handling things like Prolia management won't be in her bailiwick. I didn't ask about post-ADT SE's and recovery from same. Hot flashes, low T, BMD loss, and last not least sarcopenia. What is the community's experience with how post-treatment SE's are best handled? Are

Pelvic floor exercise video removed.
I had a RP 5 years ago with recurrence - then had 72Gy of IMRT. After the RP with pelvic floor exercises, I had incontinence under control - just wearing 1 shield per day. But then after radiation I completely lost control. I go thru periods of intensely training and I still have hope. My problem is

Mirena Coil Fatigue
Hi all, just looking for some advice or if you have had similar experience. I got diagnosed with acute stage 5 endometriosis in January, and the gynocologist fitted me with the mirena coil. I was told if this did t work I’d have to start HRT for 6-12 months, as you can imagine this was a lot to take

night sweats - without sweating, any solutions?
hi everyone, I had to come off HRT in December. It hasn’t been as bad as I thought. Except…I get the most awful hot episodes through the night. They wake me up as I feel I’m being cooked, no sweating though. I’m in the cycle of throwing covers off then waking again freezing, and like many of us my normal
