Is this diverticulitis??
I have had ibsc for about 20 years though it has got worse lately and I eat lots of veg and fibre. I have hand camera down throat no problems found. They took a biopsy and negative for celiac. To cut a long story short I got a transvaginal untrasound as I had been experiencing pelvic or bladder pain

Chronic pain, no diagnosis
I have suffered pelvic pain for ten years, I have had internals, pelvic exams, ultrasound scans, MRI,
colposcopy
and laparoscopy. All yielded nothing. I was told if the abnormal bleeding stopped I would not have the pain so they carried out endometrial ablation. That was 6 years ago.

I have had symptoms related to reflux for 3 years, although it doesn’t fully add up. I get severe indigestion constantly, heartburn and abdominal cramping. Sometimes i’ll wake up in the night with my entire abdomen burning and I vomit up bright yellow acid. Occasionally my throat burns too. I also change

Enzyme Deficiency
Hello all I have not posted in a while. Over the years I've been told that I have IBS, reflux, possible celiac, damage to the vagus nerve, iron deficiency and low folic acid. I've been on a gluten free diet for nearly 4 years now because I did test positive for the allergy and show all the signs of

I'm new/Colonoscopy, bowel prep failed twice!! now constipated
The doctor wanted colonoscopy and endoscopy so I was sent to a gerontologist at the local hospital. 1. The first bowel prep of moviprep did not work. I retained the fluid and was quite ill and therefore the procedure was canceled. 2. They then prescribed picolax, which I took at1 pm then 5 pm, nothing

Doctors know best.
I had to have a colonoscopy recently and having had previous colonoscopies, I knew that my RLS legs were always a problem. I live in the USA and they use Propofol, which knocks me out but makes my Restless legs really bad. So, I explained this to the Doctor and the anesthetic person. They said “

Pancreas causing B12 deficiency?
All my test results from gastroenterologist were complete just before Christmas but Im frustratingly still waiting for him to get in touch despite having called his office several times. I was referred with suspected malabsorption issues including B12 deficiency and bowel trouble. Colonoscopy and biopsies

Does this happen to you?
My husband called me at work to say he hadn’t been able to eat anything not even his porridge, which he has been enjoying. When I got home he was so down and he said he feels so poorly it is the worst he has felt. We think it may be the last of sleep but who knows. It appears to me how he feels goes

Just a further quick update and question please folks. I had the results back from my polyectomy (encouraged to go for endoscopy and colonoscopy by you guys and thank goodness I did) it was one step away from being cancerous! The dr was the first medical professional I’ve ever seen whom understood about

All tests are neg yet still have symptoms, could it be IBS?
Hi there I'm very new to all this, symptoms too. I'm hoping to find answers if possible.. I had surgery for 3 epigastric hernias, 5 weeks later I started with the bloody mucus. I was a perfectly healthy 49 year old up to that point. I had a colonoscopy that initially showed inflammation, 3 weeks later

Calprotecin
I had a stool test done and tested normal for infection but for calprotecin it’s 1800. The gi said there’s inflammation in my intestines. I’m scared right now going in for a colonoscopy next week. I never eat meat.

Fibroscan Results
I finally got my Fibroscan results. Stage 1 with no scarring. My lab work all came back normal, just a little high on cholesterol. Colonoscopy was normal.

Not sure what to think
Following husband’s colonoscopy on Monday I took him for blood work this morning and saw GP this afternoon. I pointed out that his legs are swelling again and his tummy looks bigger (the scan on 23rd December said no ascites) and he goes a bit yellow. GP agreed about the legs and examined his tummy

Granulomatous and IBS or IBD
Hi my 9 year old daughter had a colonoscopy and endoscopy carried. The biospys have been returned abnormal. Her consultant said it's is Granulomas. She was then sent for an MRI which has come back clear. Has anyone else heard off or have Granulomas? I was wondering if it is a side effect of IBS?

Finally Been referred for a Colonoscopy!
I've been struggling a while now with IBS when I say a while probably about six years ever since I was 19, now I am 25. Been going to the GP on and off for years but never get referred to see a gastroenterologist, up until recently where my calprotectin levels in my stool tests have been getting higher
