Hi Ladies I had surgery april 2019 and had endo removed and also got diagnosed with adeno too, since my surgery I still get horrendous ovary pains and also issues with my bowel, seen a specialist this week about the bowel issues and he wants me to have colonoscopy, has anyone had one? Any tips as I’m

Bowel Screening Test Shows Traces Of Blood
I've had ibs for many years & always dreaded turning 60 & having to do bowel screening, the FOBT result came today & showed traces of blood, now have to do a FIT test & am absolutely terrified, if it's positive I'll have to have a colonoscopy. I have a phobia about colonoscopies following a bad experience

Pain in arm after cannula
Two weeks ago I had a colonoscopy & a nurse placed a cannula in my elbow crease for the sedative. I don’t know why she didn’t put it in my hand like everyone else in the room I was in. It was placed ‘very clumsily’ and very soon blood was pouring out of it down my arm. The nurse then shrieked, ran

Aborted colonoscopy because of “unresolved loop” and pain
Hi. I had a colonoscopy yesterday but they could only see the sigmoid left side because apparently i had a loop and could not go past it with pain. I was sedated but I felt some pain however I did not realise how i reacted to the pain. It was like I felt pain in my sleep. They decided to not go on and

Is it IBS or something else?

But last October I had what the gastro thought it was gastroenteritis (although I haven’t eaten anything unusual

Slightly raised tummy right of belly button and pain
Hi all! I am new here. And worried. I have been suffering with right hand side pain lower tummy since October. Started with what seemed like gastroenteritis and lasted for about a month, no blood in stool at the beginning. Then the enteritis stopped and got what I thought is constipation as very hard

8 months waiting to not be given a diagnosis...?
Hi there. I wrote on here a few months ago now... I had a battle with my GP and finally got referred to a gastroenterologist who sent me for a colonoscopy, MRI scan and calprotectin stool test... I initially thought I had IBS, but wondered if I could possibly have Crohn's disease... I fought so hard

Stool Occult blood positive
I found out today my mail in stool sample came back positive. Since I’m on a multitude of meds, leflunimide giving me diarrhea for years I’m convinced it’s hemorrhoids or crohns. IBS etc. don’t think I’m going for a colonoscopy and all the other tests. Anyone have this?

How do you give yourself security?
Mine is a bit of a saga. Had IBS for a very long time, off and on. The worst period of flare up (until recently) was one in 2012 just after my dad died. That wasn't severe compared to many of you, but it was bad enough to make me lose my confidence in going out once I had been caught on a bus. I

Moviprep
Got a colonoscopy on Friday as mentioned in another post and the dreaded prep is tomorrow. I’ve had many of these procedures before (had bowel cancer) but always had picolax. This time I’ve been given moviprep for the so called preparation. On reading the side effects it mentions arrhythmias can occur
