Diverticulitis
I’m awaiting a
colonoscopy
but that won’t be for another 6 weeks or so as the bowel needs to heal. If anyone else is going through or been through a similar thing please reach out because I’m scared.

what to think?
I had
colonoscopy
, pelvic u/s and mammo about 10 months ago. I just don’t know what to think and I’m having a hard time waiting for three months…I reached out to another hematologist for a 2nd opinion but they are booked until fall. I called Hopkins, but you need a referral to go there.

A future without screening colonoscopies.
interesting developments for diagnosing bowel cancer. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/990465 Many of us experience gut symptoms with our diseases, I for one find this interesting.

Rib and chest pain?
Gastroscopy found nothing,
colonoscopy
pending. My question is, lower rib pain left side, higher on right, also reaches under right shoulder and left neck. GP dismissed Stills Disease involvement instantly and has only spoken to me on the phone for 5 minutes. I’m not with a rheumatoid specialist.

Finally some progress
So she had a CT/MRI/US/Biopsys done, GI scopes
colonoscopy
... every test you can imagine. Her LFTs again remained normal except her Billi's high and low hemoglobin. The diagnosis was rapid onset NASH due to rapid weight loss. The masses seen were fatty lesions.

Suspected Bechets - affecting me mentally & physically
Hello, So sorry for the long post! So my doctor believes I have Bechets and I am currently undergoing tests/waiting for results. I have suffered with horrendous mouth ulcers ever since I had glandular fever at the age of 19 (now 36), and after a couple of years back and forth to the doctors about it,

I'm 24 years old and I have been diagnosed with IBS after a

Blood in stool. Positive qfit test. Anxiety is above and beyond.
I now have my appointment for a
colonoscopy
in just over 2 weeks time. But my anxiety is through the roof to the point I can barley stand up straight.

Apixaban and colonoscopy?
I am scheduled for my regular
colonoscopy
. Because I have had polyps removed in pervious procedures I have asked if I should stop my Apixaban (long term due OHS) prior to. The gastro team said yes, 72hs prior but I should check with the cardio team.

Prostap for Endometriosis?
(For background, there are no polyps or adenomyosis ruled out by hysteroscopy, no bowel issues ruled out by
colonoscopy
, ultrasound and MRI found nothing, and can’t have mirena due to uterus shape. I’m 50 and very peri menopausal!)

Any idea what is going on?
I'm not diagnosed but I have had tests done (2 colonoscopies which showed no inflammation but 1
colonoscopy
showed ulcers in the terminal ileum but the biopsies were normal). A CT scan showed chronic active inflammation in my terminal ileum and caecum.

Hard Mass on my Spleen
I've had ct scan, ultrasound,
colonoscopy
, and there's no sign of a tumor. I'm perplexed that after so many tests and doctors, I still don't have an answer about what the hard mass is, or if there's anything that can be done for it.

severe flatulence
Had
colonoscopy
and abdominal CT Scan but nothing sinister other than the diverticulitus. I have bowels opened every morning and feel OK till about mid afternoon when I pass so much wind until I go to bed. I do also have a painful haemmoroid. Does anyone else suffer such acute flatulence.

Colonoscopy Sedation or Entonox
I have been referred to the hospital after a severe IBS flareup. I am mentally preparing myself for the experience but my most significant question mark is whether to opt for Sedation or Entonox (Gas & Air). What are people's experiences with them both and which do you prefer?

My Last Rheumy Appointment
Some years ago I had a
colonoscopy
after which they told me I had a number of diverticular pouches only seen in someone with a lifetime of constipation. Being me, I felt judged although I have certainly not suffered from decades of constipation.

Bleeding Nuisance
Following a
colonoscopy
the problem was diagnosed as a haemorrhoid at the top of my rectum. As soon as I stop taking Apixaban, the bleeding stops. I am then told to stop taking Apixaban for a certain healing period.

Results & gut issues
I've had on and off gut issues for years now, bloating, tiredness being the main concerns and have been referred for a
colonoscopy
and and endoscopy- which I'm extremely nervous about. I've heard about the links between T3 on gut issues and got some blood test results.
