Tired of all this 'Shit'

So on top of what feels like my five billion health issues - IBS and BAM, I had a test a few months ago and was told I have inflamation of the bowel. Doc wanted a second test to be done. When result comes back, if it's the same as the last, I will have to have another colonoscopy. Good times !

awful! I’ve ended up with illyostomy AND live on a drip since the operation, everyday of my life!! It’s horrendous 😡

Well to say you’re fed up with all this shit,sums me up perfectly. I’ve suffered with constant pain for about 12-13 yrs now,and I’m still not really sure what it is. But I’ve had enough of being messed with. So I just struggle on. I’ve been and done everything I can,and things are worse now. You can’t even get to see a GP for a couple of weeks,then it’s a phone call.

So missymo and houseofpain I fully empathise with you both,but I have no answers. I just really wish I did,I’m sorry for all the sufferers of pain ,no one seems to care anymore.😢

I am sorry to read this. It is really difficult to have solid continuity of support. I have fought for the little I have. I'm just so drained having to continually be in a vulnerable state and yet the expectations are of me sorting it all out.

Yes, me too,  Houseofpain ! I laughed my hat off when I saw that🤩!

I’ve had IBS since I was in my mid-30s. I used to get tummy pain when I needed to ‘go’, but the symptoms have been mild apart from that. It makes life really difficult if I’m trying to get somewhere, and I keep getting told off for being late for appointments. ‘I was trapped on the toilet’ is apparently not an acceptable reason for being late!

I’m meant to be losing weight, but I’m sticking to little and often meals, in the hope my gut will settle down.

The flushing-resistant poo is a constant problem for me, I think I need to replace our toilets with something more aggressive! 😂
