My first PSA after HT reporting confusion
I’ve just finish 19 months of Zoladex and RT to prostate only (localised G9 / PSMA/CT clear no evidence of SV involvement with PSA 6) My usual lab have been reporting my PSA as <0.01 ug/L since RT 18 months ago. My first 3 month testosterone is 0.8 nmol/L (23 ng/dL) and my PSA <0.03 ! Why is it

Zytiga & prednisone.
Hello Everyone, This is about my Father, he was on Nubeqa and Eligard shot for last two years. His PSA started going up again and his pains also started. His medical oncologist changed his Oral drug to Zytiga with prednisone. He is told not to eat anything two hours before and one hour after Zytiga

At what PSA will a PSMA PET scan be useful?
Hi everyone My father has been on Lupron for 3 years now. We stopped Abi last year due to rising blood sugar levels. His PSA used to hover between 0.6-0.8 (with an occasional spike to 1.2). PSA in May 24 was 0.6. Today, however, his PSA came back as 2.5. Plan is to restart Abi and monitor. But I wanted

Recurrent prostate cancer at 5 months after radical prostatectomy, with psa up to 0.2. PSMA and MRI negative. Now on Leuprolide and Nubeqa.
My Gleason was 9. Incontinence has been an issue since the RP and even though it has improved still leaked around 30 ml a day. Delaying radiation that I was recommended by one institution but some Oncologists say to delay radiation for more recovery. Even though my PSA is 0.01 on the meds, i worry

bone Mets!
it’s here. After 11 1/2 years on zoladex injections and Xtandi followed by Nubeqa, husband had a PET scan that shows numerous spots on spine, breastbone and one lymph node in groin. PSA was undetectable for years, then .1 and .2, which triggered the order for the scan. The PA told him he has 1-2years

First PSMA PET scan and aftermath
My oncologists (medical and radiation) had been pushing me to have a PSMA scan for two years. Even though in 2023 my PSA rose from .67 to 1.37, I pointed out that a PSMA scan would not change my treatment. We ran another Axumin PET in January, which was stable, if not better, than the one in September

Xtandi or Zytiga
Hi fellow warriors I would like to ask a couple of questions if possible. I am currently on Zoladex and have been for about 6yrs, I have had radiotherapy and Chemotherapy in the early days Is there anything else I can try before going onto Zytiga or Xtandi. Also with Zytiga or Xtandi is one better

Pluvicto fail - what's next
My husband finished 3 rounds of Pluvicto and each time his PSA has risen. He just had a PSMA scan yesterday which showed an increase in the bone mets. We talked with his oncologist last week and asked what his next step could be if it's decided to stop this treatment. She mentioned another chemo treatment

Need Advice
I recently completed 23 radiation treatments of EBRT at Cedars Siani in LA for recurrent prostate Cancer. The cancer was in a lymph node near the prostate gland. My RO has informed me that we will check PSA in November to see if the treatments were successful. I mentioned doing a PSMA Pet Scan in addition
