Fresh from first visit to oncologist Is palliative chemo worth it?
This is my first post here. Today I saw my specialist for the first time. I've had all manner of tests to find a cause for my upset stomach and weight loss. He tells me I have almost certainly got an aggressive stage 4 lung cancer in one lung, spleen, adrenal gland and possibly in my larynx. He seems

Seriously unfit newbie alert!
We walked up a hill and I had to stop twice on the way up as my legs were burning and I felt like a
lung
had
collapsed
.....my Dad hadn't even broken a sweat! I have very little energy, despite eating well, and this is the reason I want to do this as so many people on here say they have more energy.

Partial Lung Collapse
My recent xray showed a slight partially
collapsed
lung
on my left side. This time last year I was involved in a road traffic accident and damaged a rib. No xray was taken as they only do them if the spleen or lung had been punctured.

CT SCAN RESULTS. Help!
Hi, I'm new to the site. Quick history: Chest infection started last September, and gradually got worse at Christmas again, then again 2 months ago. GP stated xray clear, and I didn't meet NICE Guidelines criteria for CT scan when I asked for one. And so, after much persuasion (and asking for GMC number

Setting Goals Despite Lung Cancer
Life doesnât stop when we get a diagnosis of lung cancer. We still have things that we need to get done. The list may change after diagnosis, with fun new items like âmake medical directiveâ and âmeet with lawyerâ. We may also realize that we have personal goals that we do not want to defer any more.

Why so exhausted?
I had a wedge resection on June 20th and started walking right away. I've built up to 45 minutes per day and have no residual pain . Last week I started a gradual return to work and I'm now overwhelmed by exhaustion. I really want to be at work so I'm concerned that I'm so fatigued, almost all day.

Punched in the chest
I'm concerned the blow either broke a rib (upper right side) or my
lung
has
collapsed
. On top of all of this, it was my husband that punched me. Not looking for sympathy not lectures. Police were called but he did not go to jail.
