Tomorrow I continue my journey at Wythenshawe hospital at Manchester in the UK. I arrive there Monday and I will be released on the Wednesday after I have had all the testing I am hoping to make it onto the lung transplant list for a double lung transplant. I have severe Bronchiectasis brittle asthma, one lung and I am on oxygen 24/7. As always I am prepared for the worst.
Is there anything anyone can tell me about the 3 day program?
Kind regards

Hi Joseph you asked is there anything anyone can tell me about the 3 day program?
Well I had 16 tube things of blood taken for blood test, had CT scans, xray lots of other test including ultrasound of your heart etc, also other test included a dental xray to see if any dental work would be needed before any possible transplant.
Also you could seen by various medical assesers to see if you are suitable to go forward. Sounds a lot but they have it all planned out.
hi Joseph just a quick good luck for monday . I too am waiting for my 3 day programme after having my 1st meet with the doc i am now waiting on hopefully a date to go to Wytheshawe for the tests but like you say i too am on 24/7 oxygen and although been very upbeat in the past I must say im feeling very down at the min i think its the not knowing .
