Eculizumab: Expert opinion is needed - What is a correct way to get off Soliris?
Dear experts, my son has DDD and have been treated with Soliris since January. He feels much better, his sC5b-9 value has gone down from 560 to 319 within 2.5 months, although the C3 value has dropped from 27 mg/dl to 18, but proteinuria and haematuria are almost away. So, obviously, Soliris is good

How to get some nutrition if you have IBS, Celiac, Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, Radiation Enteritis, or any other digestion disorder.
If you have IBS or any of its "cousin" gut diseases such as Ulcerative Colitis, you might not absorb nutrients well. Diarrhea in particular will flush out all nutrients, either natural or in supplement for. You gut microflora might also be weak from constant diarrhea, which will make things worse. I

Steroid pump for secondary adrenal insufficiency with traumatic brain injury
Hi. I’m new on this site but I wanted to share my AI stories, answer some questions and hopefully find some more resources to help us with this challenging condition. I’m reading that a lot of people on this site seem to be taking their steroids orally. I too was started on oral medication, dexamethasone

Dear God, please deliver me from this misery! I am in my 7th week of this with no end in sight! Please enlighten the insurance company to cover the only medication available for this horrible condition. I have been tested before, Lord, but this one threatens to break me...

After recovery from rhabdomyolysis
Hi there! I was unable to walk for one week during a bout of exertional rhabdomyolysis from too much cycling. Has anyone else suffered from this? I now know I have increased susceptibility to rhabdo due to an underlying condition of malignant hyperthermia. A doctor advised I should do more aerobic exercise

New diagnosis
Hi everyone, I’m new here 🙋🏻♀️ I have ulcerative colitis and 1 was also diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis - (I think that’s how it’s spelt) in March. I had been symptom free until a few weeks ago but I’ve started to itch .... it’s driving me nuts and appears to be completely at random

Scleraderma / HHT
Good evening all. Has anybody been diagnosed with systemic sclerosis, scleraderma and HHT, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia? The reason I'm asking is its possible that I have both these diseases, I'm currently awaiting for an appointment for a brain scan for Avm.s.

Awaiting diagnosis and scared
Hi, I’m new here but just looking to put my mind at ease. Over the last couple of months I’ve had full blood tests and a sample for calprotectin, initially to confirm whether or not I had IBS. I had been taking probiotics which helped for a while and also buscopan but my symptoms started to worsen. Two
