Do pain killers make the pain completely go away?
I'm starting to think I'm not on strong enough pain killers, but the dr won't prescribe me anything else. I currently take Co-codamol 30/500mg, but all it does is make me feel a bit woozy but the pain levels are exactly the same. If I went onto a stronger painkiller such as tramadol will that make

Good Night All - it's not been a bad day
Hi all, at least having a better night than yesterday when I had a bad headache and backache. Again didn't get much sleep but that seems to be the norm now so I have decided that I will just have to put up with for now. It's not been a bad day once I got started - that is crawling out of bed very

The pay off...
So yesterday was a good day, just as well I'd been dreading travelling to a meeting in London in this weather, but apart from a bit of stiffness and a few tweaks all was good. Roll on 24 hours and of course it's pay off time! I was awake half the night with terrible pain in my hips and today I can

HELP! Can anyone recommend a good muscle relaxant? ( not Diazepam)
I'm in a really, really, really bad flare-up. Worst in years! I'm quite literally at my wits end. I'm seeing my pain specialist tomorrow - who, btw, is lovely and a real help. All except that I get hardly any pain meds. I'm on Co-codamol (30/500) and Ibuprofen ( 400mg) I also get diazepam, but only

Run out of my meds ...
I always have my meds on a repeat from my lovely local chemist - he orders the repeat from my dr and then delivers my meds to me at home, I don't have to do a thing (good job really as I always forget). Because I use one of those weekly pill holders, I sort my pills for the week on a sunday then forget

How long before my RA is under control??
I have been taking Methotrexate for 5 months and Sulfasalazine for 5 weeks. I was diagnosed with RA in November last year after having symptoms, on and off, for 2 years. I have had 3 lots of steroids since then and my hands are not as painful every day as they were. I take Diclofenac modified release

Hi I’m after some advice please. I currently take co-dydramol 10mg/500mg as pain relief and I’ve been taking co-codomol or similar for about 3 years now but I’m finding the affect on my asthma is getting much worse and causing problems, these aren’t strong enough either but the stronger they are
