Run out of my meds ...

I always have my meds on a repeat from my lovely local chemist - he orders the repeat from my dr and then delivers my meds to me at home, I don't have to do a thing (good job really as I always forget). Because I use one of those weekly pill holders, I sort my pills for the week on a sunday then forget all about them. I asked my chemist last month not to deliver all my meds as I had a cupboard full (as they come EVERY month, I had accumulated some of the packs that had more than a months supply in). I sat down on sunday with my pill holder, went to my magic cupboard and realised that I only had enough of my co-codamol to last me til this morning (panic then set in) as my meds only just take the edge off the pain and thats only if I take all my pills, if I miss one pill out then none of them work at all!!!

I felt like a complete drug addict this morning, waiting for the chemist to open, was on the phone to them at 8am to get it sorted, fabulous man that he is, is going to put in a request at my drs, but in the meantime, give me my meds (he was going to get them delivered to me today, but to be on the safe side and make sure that I definately have them, I am going to go in and collect them) he asked if I had run out of any of my other meds too - which I haven't (I think). I really would be lost without this fantastic local service.

That is lovely that your chemist does that, how nice of them, its good to hear of some good service.

I too panic if i forget tablets and that is quite often, i am useless lol.

I have noticed too that if i miss one pill then no others work for neither that whole day its really strange isnt it.

I went to an olly murs concert and realised that i hadnt put one of my tablets in my bag, well panic stations on and constantly thinking about wouldnt help but my sister in law will proberbly just think 'god she is really addicted to these tablets now'. But she wont understand that if one missed then the rest dont work.

how lovely of them to do that you do tend to build up a relationship with the chmists i have mine attached to the doctor surgery and they know me by name i go so much and have so much it really is a personal servivce which is nice love to you diddle x
