So yesterday was a good day, just as well I'd been dreading travelling to a meeting in London in this weather, but apart from a bit of stiffness and a few tweaks all was good. Roll on 24 hours and of course it's pay off time!
I was awake half the night with terrible pain in my hips and today I can barely walk on the right one at all - when I put pressure on, it feels like it will give way beneath me! I'm lucky though, my employer is very understanding and havng had a hot bath and taken two co codamol I'm about to start work from home. This is the frustrating nature of FM, it's not that you can't do certain things (although I doubt I'll be running any marathons anytime soon:-)), it's that there's always a pay off for doing them - that's what separates us (well certainly me) from 'normal' people.

this is so true. One good day can lead to several bad days.So hard to plan ahead for anything as i never know how i will be feeling. Today is a bad day, not sure why, i have a pounding head and really bad lower back pain. very hard for family to understand this condition , it varies so much from day to day. I am sure if i wasnt the sufferer i would find it hard to understand too.
I have a double dentist appointment tomorrow from 10.40 until 13.30 and it will be freezing outside. Already dreading what Friday and Saturday will be like. The only time i go anywhere these days is to appointments. I try not to get too excited lol
