Recurring low back pain
Approximately 3 years ago I hurt my back, I'm still not quite sure how. I just sat down one day and couldn't get up. I had noticed for a while before that I wasn't able to lay on my front anymore as it was making me ache, the doctor seems to think this may have been a warning sign. Anyway I ended up

Pain clinic appointment?
Hi everyone I woke this morning to find my appointment for the pain clinic had come through:). Things are happening so quickly for me, even though my doctor gave me this diagnosis I am still finding it very difficult to get her to give me a pain killer that actually works for me. I can have co-codamol

Confused and fed up
Hi everyone Apologies in advance for the long post! This is my first on here and I haven't spoken about this in a while because my problems (mostly) subsided whilst I was on the Depo Provera injection for about 2 or 3 years - so I just got on with it. Background: had 'menstrual' and pain issues

So far so good
Hi--- I'm at the start of my third week of meds- 200 mg of hydrox and 15 mgs of Mtx, 5mg of f acid(once a week). After spending the first night with my head down the toilet I rang my gp who gave me anti sickness pills to take 3 times daily-- since taking those I just have permanent but slight nausea.

Trouble with work and my back, again.
The end of the school holidays should've been fun and relaxing. Instead my back decided to flare up for real. Took almost six weeks before it calmed down...for a week! The doctors at a loss, my skin now reacts to TENs machine pads. Pain Management suggest acupuncture when I should be in work. Arcoxia

Total Knee Replacement and RLS
On October 4th I had a left total knee replacement. I was in hospital for four days during this time the first two days were free of RLS and I got the best nights sleep I had had for years. During the third night my RLS returned and I had to plead with the staff to give me Pramipexole. I normally take

Fibromyalgia
I am really confused over supplements and vitamins, I have been under a great deal of stress, tried several antidepressants but with no success, just on Lorazepam and Zopiclone, poor appetite, so feel I am missing nutrient, I have tried co-codamol with little relief, and am on atenolol for blood pressure

Not very helpful gynae
I had my three month appointment with my consultant two weeks ago, even though I didn't see her I saw one of her registrars, who asked me how I was feeling after the lap & having finished the zoladex, I said I still have backache & she said painkillers wouldn't work but to try cerazette (cerelle) instead

Tramadol and Warfarin reaction?
I have been moved from Co-Codamol 30 to Tramadol for pain but a report shows it increases INR and it is important to monitor INR more closely. It must be me but for a strange reason I have gone from 2.4, 3.8, 2.4 Just started Tramadol and my last test this week I am down to 1.8? My Range is 2.5-3.5 3.0

See, I knew I was right. It's RA flare not OA!
Some of you may remember from my last posts that I have been off MTX for 6 months due to chest infections. Have been flaring in knee and elbow and finally managed to get an earlier appointment with my Rheumy to try to sort out some new medication. However, Rheumy did not think my pain was due to RA but

Different GP different approach
I have been in a lot of pain with my joints and chest this last week or so. And my co-codamol 30 have not been hitting the spot at all. So my wife booked me in as I was near the end of my supply and could see I was in pain. I did not see my usual doc but a young lady who greeted me in. I explained
