Unsuccessful pain management
Hi everyone, Last night I ended up being taken into my local A + E by ambulance after ringing 111. I’m on the second day of my cycle and have been having my usual symptoms; sickness, headaches, fainting, diarrhoea and feeling extremely fatigued. The pain this month is the worst it’s been, it just seems

Trying to get used to Cpap mask
Hi, I’m mainly on the thyroid page of health unlocked but I saw someone had mentioned sleep apnoea and this site so I strolled over. I also suffer from polymyalgia which is inflammation of the muscles and am on pain patches and co-codamol, unfortunately the patches fall off in hot weather and co-codamol

Where do I go from here?
Hi there, having been on the Neupropatch (3 mg) and Clonazipam (0.5 mg) since June 2017 (and Pramiprexole since 2006 until I augmented), over the last month I have increasingly been needing to take 2 co-dydramol at night to help me sleep and actually I take it every night now, otherwise hours of RLS.

Mirena Coil
Hi, I had the mirena coil fitted on Tuesday. I had GA to have a hysteroscopy & biopsy. I have a 2cm fibroid. My initial consultant recommended the Mirena, but he was not the same consultant on the day. The doctor on the day said she fitted it but didnt know if it would work for me as my heavy bleeding

Help/advice
Hello. I was diagnosed with arthritis in my left knee around 5 years ago and then last year with arthritis in a facet joint in my lower back last year. The physiotherapist gave me exercises/stretches to do and I’ve been managing it very well until last weekend. I was almost pain free most of the time

Confused
I've recently been diagnosed with fybromyalgia had symptoms for 4 years. I am very confused by people's reaction. I've been told it's all in the head. It's made up like m.e. It's just being lazy. It can't be seen on blood test or xray. Saw doctor recently as I am in so much pain and I am already on

Nifedipine/ Coracten
Hi, I've been on Nifedipine 20mg (Adalat Retard) twice daily for about 5 years to help control painful spasms in my forearms related to Raynauds/Scleroderma. I'm also on Carbamazepine, Aspirin, Co-codamol, and Illoprost every 6 months. The recent change to Coracten I think has led to side effects which
