Feels like something dislocates!
I suffer from cmt type 1a. For about 8 years now my right knee has been causing a lot of pain and it (in the only way I can explain) gets stuck in a bent position and then has to be pulled and cracked back into place before I can walk on it again. It hurts but I'm so used to it now I can handle it. However

That's what my boyfriend and I have taken to calling this condition - it seems to be taking the p*** out of me, so I think it's time I had a go back! ;) Well, the GP couldn't access my blood results on the computer last week, but he's fairly sure (as I am) that the consultant would've contacted me

Really in need of help with pain/depression.
Hey, I was diagnosed with fibro about a year ago after being told that it was growing pains and being told countless times to go away and stop wasting valuable doctors time until I was admitted to hospital being unable to move because my knees and hips just locked and refused to move at all. 20 mg Butrans Patches
Hi there I wanted to know if anyone had any success with Butrans patches. This is my 3rd week on the 20mg dose and I'm seeing no improvement at all. I have gained 8 pounds in weight and my ankles, feet and toes now look like trotters. I was wondering should I give it a bit longer or to go back

Has anyone else been addressed directly from incapacity for this new benefit?
I have been on incapacity benefit and DLA (high rate mobility) for over a decade, I get about when the pain isn't too bad on crutches and was diagnosed with Fibromialgia a bit over a year ago. I was recently assessed for this new version of incapacity (Employment & support allowance) and told I no longer

Well I have managed to get booked in to see the nurse on Friday. Had bloods done Tuesday so if anything is going on I should at least have the results by tomorrow. I have never felt like this before, my arms and shoulders are keeping me awake all night, my knee has not responded to the jab

10 miles ? Eeek!
Last weekend, I managed 10.88km (about 6.2 miles) with lots of walking (and a bit of getting lost). I felt worn out afterwards ! On Tuesday at running club, we did some hill sessions - they were very tough so I'm sure they were good for me - someone told me it would take a few weeks to reap the
