Hey everyone, As mentioned previously, my mum is awaiting radiotherapy and has decided to go ahead. She has had a horrendous cough now for nine weeks and had numerous courses of anti biotics, which cannot be great. She is currently taken her third course of cotrimoxazole, which have not done much. Doxycycline long term use
Hi, I’m 11 months into my 15 month treatment for CLL. I’m on Ibrutinib with Venetoclax and it’s suited me well, and I’m really pleased that my bloods now appear to be normal. I’m also on Co-Trimoxazole antibiotic and Aciclovir antiviral to deal with any infections should they arise during my treatment

I don't know what to do, very strong Co-codamol doesn't touch the pain and there doesn't seem to be anyone to talk to. I can't take Ibuprofen due to Kidney Disease. I am a reasonably fit 76 year old , play golf 2-3 times a week, don't smoke, little alcohol. My first episode with chest pains came on

I have just been diagnosed with heart failure. I already am treated for a fib (bisoprolol and warfarin) but I have taken (for years) one 10mg amitriptyline at night and two 8/500 co-codamol in the middle of the night. Is it ok to continue like this because they really do the trick? Many thanks

Effective pain relief
Hi all,I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in December 2023 they ablated it during the laproscopy I recovered well but now I am back in a lot of pain :( I get the pain mostly in my pelvic area and right flank. I started to think the right flank pain was maybe coming from my kidney as I've had issues

Update on House Move and Doctors Move
We've been in the new house (probably should say new to us as it's around 130 years old) it all went as well as could be expected but it did mean we had to change doctors which was a bit of a worry as our previous ones were brilliant. Had a telephone consultation with new docs this morning. Very impressed
