Clexane

I started the new medical plan as discussed at St Marys as soon as I got my +ve result (Clexane, Asprin and Steriods) and was booked in for a 6 week scan to make sure i wasn't ectopic (as apparently i'm higher risk now due to number of pregnancies)...

I still on a roller coaster with my blood it to thick now :( so injecting myself daily with clexane :( Been diagnosed with aps and sle just over 11 years and I would love it if my blood would go thin inr of 4.5 and no more bruises on my belly from the clexane .right moan over .does any one fancy meeting

Dr Rai has told me that the clexane and April combo just isn't enough. While they're doing their job I also need help to prevent inflammation which Dr rai believes caused evies low birth weight and the demise odds Joshua. So the plan for next time is to be put on steroids for the first 12 weeks.

Also, I'm normal weight for my height, but needing 12mg warfarin and 2 injections per day of Clexane just to keep my INR up. I have to have an INR of 3 - 4. I have been put onto a low dose statin even though my arteries are not firred up. And the MS marches on obediently with this new APS.

Currently on Clexane twice a day with the plan of starting again on Warfarin in a week or so. My Consultant is going to contact the trials for Rivaroxiban as it seems that my blood clotted whilst taking it. Sorry this has ben so long, but I wanted to update you all.

It would, however, be interesting to hear if anyone else on Clexane has had a simalair thing. Love and hugs to all Judes x

I am on clexane 150 mg. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced any thing like this and should i be worried thanks margaret

I am due to have a lung biopsy in a couple of weeks, anyone any idea of the protocols for starting stopping Clexane? I'd like to have some idea before I see the docs, it's not that I dont trust therm....but

We will return to the hospital clinic this week to see Dr Godfrey and discuss putting her on Clexane. She was taken off Warfarin for a week, due to some tests that it would interfere with, and the difference was remarkable.

Firstly many thanks to all all answered my question on biopsies and Clexane. I had a lung CT scan back in December that showed a small lesion that was thought to be due to inflammation. imfection or scar tissue where I had previous PE's.

In meantime still on 60mg clexane, surgical stockings, iron because of blood loss, for 3 weeks when I go back to see him. He said something about only APS if 2 or more occassions of clotting, would treat miscarriage as one.

I has aps, factor 5 and crohns (which also makes your blood sticky) I had mutilple PEs and a DVT the last one in may 2011 and have been on daily clexane injections since september as I didnt respond to warfrin.

Clexane Its just that I am feeling so tired I could sleep all day and night, ofcourse I would check with my Gp ist he would probably refere me to the Neurologist( who I blame for not diagnosing me earlier) just a thought Thanks Karen xx

Consultant sought advice of haematologist during first op and have been on 60mg clexane since and for another 2 weeks. Went to see GP this week, he didnt know anything about APS apologised and said a lesson learnt etc, and doing an urgent referral.

Took clexane and aspirin in pregnancy and since been told I just need the aspirin, wondering if really i might need more anticoags?

I've now had 4 missed m/c and 2 positive bloods test for it 7 weeks apart in 07 and had a full term pregnancy with clexane 20mg! i'm just waiting for another appointment to see where we go from here.
