My story
So now I am on
clexane
injections which seem to be working for me. For the last six months I have had a pressure in the left side of my abdomen / chest which is almost constant. It goes when I lie down or do exercise.

Any other men with APS?
Currently my medication is
clexane
, plaquinal, codine, fluexitine and slimvastatin. I have also been referred to a nuerologist to try and work out what is causing the tremor which is awfull, they don't seem to think that this is part of my APS. Oh well that's me.

Rheumatology appointment .I am going to be Famous ! (A long one coffee ready?)
Because I was on
Clexane
for a couple of years it was decided by the Haematology that I should have a Dexa scan this showed I had dense bones rather than the oesteoporosis that they expected. I had a bone biopsy and the surgeon local hospital said I had the toughest bones he had ever seen.

Secondly, ‘modern’ heparin (low molecular weight heparin, such as Fragmin or
Clexane
) is very safe, its only problem being that it requires injection. (Many, many pregnant Hughes syndrome patients take heparin injections for 8-9 months). Mrs BJ returned after three weeks. All headaches gone!

Catastrophic Hughes!!
I now have 12 mg warfarin and 2
clexane
injections each day. Prior to xmas i had an MRI and the results showed that i had been having mini strokes (that explained the head aches). So all I can say is "whats next". I have come to terms with the fact that i will never work again.

Where can I find information for equivocal results.
My haematologist spoke to me today no more tests but cant treat me as he normally would (with
Clexane
) as I have another blood disorder which means I don't always clot as I should - however it doesn't protect me against DVTs etc (odd I know).

Tiredness when on Clexane
Has anyone been on long term
clexane
, suffering with severe tiredness to the point of not wanting to get up, not having the strength and walk. I am taking therapeutic dose, it a hefty two injections at night. Taking this as when on warfarin still had dvt's, and pe's.

was feeling a little low
So I gently encouraged him to give me
clexane
until I am seen at St Thomas'. I felt like a bit of a bully but at the end of the day, I want to be well enough to get to that appointment next week. I will let you know how I get on Love to you all Sharon xx

New appointment went rubbish
He has said we can have 40mg of
clexane
and 75mg aspirin. I'm so upset because now I don.t know if I have it. My last positive tests where 07 I've not been tested again since may this year!

My Life Story: Part 4 - aged 30 (Updated October 2010)
I was recovering from the surgery and had changed blood thinner (I now inject
Clexane
everyday). When you’re at work, dozing on the sofa in front of the TV sometimes seems like heaven doesn’t it? You forget that when you have no other choice it is actually hell.
