My CAPS experience
In the hospital I started to use
Clexane
and I also changed doctor after a short visit to just drop on his desk the report from the Spanish hospital. They recommend me to fix the
Clexane

I don't think the

is thing my blood enough. My dr. Here in the U.S. has not done any blood test on me in the last 5 months. Designer16

Has anyone went to the Food Hospital in the UK?
I started to get better when I started taking the
clexane
, but now it seems like my body is use to it. Designer16

Pain management while on blood thinners
This time i'm on
clexane
injections so can't take the ibuprofen therefore can't get the pain under control long enough for the muscles to relax. I've had the diazepam and co codamol, even tramadol but nothing I would usually do is working.

Clotting on Clexane
This time I want to ask whether it is possible to have a clot whilst on
Clexane
. I have just been told in no uncertain terms i might add by a consultant at my local hospital that it is absolutely impossible to clot on
Clexane
. My GP says different, who is right . Thanks

Clexane and lumps
This is for anyone on
Clexane
. I inject twice a day and am sometimes left with large painful lumps that usually bruise. I do apply arnica cream which does help but they can be very painful.

Coming off Clexane/Finding a good doctor
So after much MUCH to-ing, fro-ing and indecision over very high positive APL blood test results (interspersed with normal results) I was finally put on a
Clexane
trial.

Then if I go below 3
clexane
jabs. My INR is fairly erratic. They also are suggesting plaquenil for the pain and for its mild anticogualant effects and also for the lupus type symptoms I have (they are retesting for lupus as I am a weak positive). Still new to all this.

New to Hughes, but not really.
I have recently started on warfarin after years on
Clexane
and I have to admit its a struggle. Its so hard to be normal when I don't know what normal feels like anymore. Fatigue, aches and pains, feeling like I cant get enough oxygen all the time, its a struggle daily.

Confusing S-APS/SLE diagnosis/symptoms? Spasmodic dysphonia part of APS/SLE?
I'm on
clexane
injections which have helped a lot along with nifedipine and lyrica. My specialist (St.T's) seems to beleive it's seronegative APS then wrote 'SLE' on my most recent pharmacy note. I'm now vitD deficient and my ANA is usually weak-positive.

Clexane/heparin
Even though all the antibody tests are not yet in, I have had a copy of a really helpful letter from the dr I saw at St T's. One of the many things she suggests is that I lower my target INR range from 3-4 as I have no actual evidence of TIA. This makes sense to me as I know at a high range I am at high

Costs of clexane/heparin
Just wondering what the costs are in various parts of the world for
clexane
/heparin? Here in Australia I'm paying just over $36 for 10 syringes of 80mg
clexane
and I'm taking two shots a day. On the pack it says the full cost is $91

CCG now refusing INR test strips on prescription
This has meant that I have been able to control my INR whilst travelling world wide for both work and pleasure as well as having several minor operations where I have had to come off Warfarin and self inject with
Clexane
. This has worked well up until this week.

Warfarin resistance ?
Hello everyone, I've been on warfarin ever since my dignosis in 1999 but have recently had a baby so was on
clexane
jabs. I've been back on warfarin since may but I have not yet got back into my range of 2.5 - 3.5 (target 3), my INR is currently 2.2 a drop from 2.4 2 weeks ago.
