Clexane

I was put on clexane 40mg and aspirin 100mg but unfortunately the intervention came too late. Progressed to severe pre eclampsia and the baby's growth had been restricted. We were devastated at the loss of our son and unsure if we would ever be able to have a child.

I reached 27 week with clexane and aspirin but I am so stressed because my ogtt test was positive and diabetes is another risk for my baby. I knew that there is a grater risk because of APS but I didnt expected..I started a diet and I am checking my glucose level every day.

(during my early 5 pregnancies i could not make beyond 7 weeks)..so now doctor advised me to double the clexane shots...ie 40mg per day along with some steroids...iam very depressed nd heart broken...plz help me...does clexane 40mg with steroids result in successful pregnancy...is steroids are also injections

I found out i have APS after I got pregnant and started with aspirin 100mg and clexane 40mg since my 8 week of pregnancy. I read some experience about pregnancy with APS and all of them take the aspirin till the end of the pregnancy.

Hi all, Here's another question for you- does anyone know if clexane can cause vomiting? The jabs were started on wednesday/thursday just gone and the vomiting started last night. It's probably just a bug but I wondered if any of you had experienced the same. The amount of clexane is 150 mg.

Well on the way I have had drainage for ascites in my abdomen, a Pulmonary Embolism - treated with daily injections of Clexane, Pleural Effusion which keeps coming back after having it drained several time once was a bit scary when my lung collapsed!

GP and anti-coag are waiting for advice from Haematologist but are asking for clexane injections (I think in addition to the warfarin).

I was not put on any meds at that time, i then fell pregnant in August with twins and put on Ecotrin and Clexane...... i was also put on utrogestan to try and sustain the pregnancy..... i lost the babies last week and now they have taken me off all meds...

Since 8 week i am on aspirin 100 and clexane 40mg. Last week I got negative LAc test and my doctot want to take clexane 20 mg insteed of 40 mg and aspirin 100. I am scared because my daugter was stillborn in 36 week and dont want to lose this child too.

My day-to-day life changed markedly after I was prescribed Clexane and I am genuinely concerned this marks a push from St Thomas's to GP care and a loss of Clexane.

Suddenly Clexane for 2 weeks didn't seem like such an unreasonable request. Yippeekayay! Not sure anyone reasonably sane should be this happy about self injecting for a fortnight but I'm just sad like that :)

Hello my friends.as much of you know me .i ve been having clexane 1500ui per day to try improve my migrains..and having coricoides 10mg a day and plaquenil since last jenuary i can say i feel quite better but i try to increase my exercise but thats impossibke.

Today I went to visit a hematologyst with the results and she said to continue only with aspirin 100 mg and no clexane, and that aspirin will be enough. All the experince I have read about other woman was with aspirin and clexane. I am scared to stop with clexane and lose this child.

I had clexane injections every day while i was in hospital+ started on the warfarin(4/5 days in hosp). They said id take warfarin for 6 months+ i wasnt happy with that, ive taken warfain for About 18 months.

In my 11 week the test was again positive but 43 sec and I am on aspirin 100mg and clexane 40 mg since my 8week. I have no symptoms but i read for lupus anticoagulant and now i am too frightend because i might lose this child too.

hi everyone,im now on avastin only, experiencing pains in my back, there is a constant ache,but at the weekend i had real,sudden pain that too my breath away,this happened about three times,i have cancer and blood clots in my lungs,i am on clexane,also had six carbo/taxol. has anyone else experienced

I was told I have APS (Hughes Syndrome) and I were to follow a strick protocal of 75mg low dose aspirin and a 40mg of clexane (Heprin) until 34 weeks then continue 6 weeks after birth. I was also advised to think about egg donation as my age, by then, was advanced at 43.

Can any of you tell me what you had to do re taking syringes of clexane in your hand luggage. thanks.

Ok I do not have a proven clot which I know puts the premium up big time but I do have to take warfarin and clexane which both increase the premium. I also have some other conditions. For a Europe trip they have just quoted me about £30 which I think is fair.
