Clexane

In the meanwhile I have had a hysterectomy almost 4 weeks ago and have used Clexane (blood thinner injection), Oramorph, codeine, paracetamol, ibuprofen and am currently on Cefalexin(antibiotic) for an infection from my surgery.

The clexane visit loads and I need to get paid private prescription each time. If you were on blood thinner what was the reason and when did you stop?

I am on prednisone, aspirin, prolutex, cyclogest, and clexane. Hopefully ready for transfer on Friday. I don’t know which medication it is, but I swear I could eat a horse.. I kid you not today I was absolutely blooming starving any one else been like that?

On lots of different meds this time like clexane, prednisolone, high dose folic acid and the usual progesterone and oestrogen. Last 2 cycles I had positive FRER at 6DP. This time Negative today! Same stage as my previous two.

We are on prolutex, clexane, cyclogest, prednisone, aspirin and some vitamins. If we buy all of this for 12 weeks it’s about £2000 😩 which if it works is no problem but a huge waste of it doesn’t 🤔 I’m just wondering how everyone else managed.

This morning I did something I haven't done in the 5 years I've been on clexane, I forgot my morning dose. It was a bit of a fraught morning and maybe thats why.

My clinic put me on clexane but told me to wait until they give me the go ahead on prednisone (they already prescribed it and i have them at home). I dont know why they said to wait. Im hoping not to do the nk cells test again as its just way too expensive.

Hi ladies, spoke to my doctor about Embryo glue and Assisted Hatching he mentioned Clexane / heparin injections as an adjuvant therapy – also under your decision as you don´t have medical indication....not sure what this injection is and when it's used and for how long...any help please, getting this

Hi I was wondering if anyone else has been advised to stop taking 20mg Clexane at 9 weeks pregnant? I am I little worried about stopping it as I have previously had two early miscarriages and I have the MTHFR gene.

Haven’t had this with any of my other transfers but also on a lot more meds this time (progynova, cyclogest, aspirin, Clexane and prontogest). I have a feeling it’s maybe the prontogest progesterone injections but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this? x

i’m already frustrated about what i should do next. i want to move clinic but the clinic in my town for fet the. procedure complicated and cost for transfer is same like fresh ivf. and i dont want abandoning my emby. i ask to change for low dose gonal f, clexane and baby aspirin but said need to biopsy

Just wondering if anyone has had a knee replacement on the leg where they previously had a DVt although 40 years ago on Warfarin since heart attack caused by clot, I know I would have to be bridged with clexane I am going to phone Drs today

I will check with my consultant next time i see them, but i wondered if it’s a side effect of the aspirin and clexane injection i take or if anyone has experienced similar? Many thanks!

I was given clexane because my blood test showed that my blood was too thick and needs to be tested every month to make sure it's not over thinning. I don't know of GP wants me to travel abroad for this .

Also what dose on clexane where you on? Thanks....

UPDATE: Turns out I have an infection and raised platelets so I’ll be given antibiotics and my clexane increased to 60mg a day (plus aspirin) which feels like a lot - my mum is a little concerned with how much that is given my weight but I trust the clinic!

I've shown my concerns to the Fertility clinic and they requested that I stopped injecting Clexane 40mg and continue Crinone gel. I took my blood test yesterday and awaiting results this morning. Has anyone experienced this type of bleeding? Is it AF or miscarriage or ?? I'm really concerned.. :(

I'm also on daily 0.4ml Clexane injections but I don't think this is causing the problem (not mentioned in the side effects for clexane, but for utrogestan).

This is my 4th transfer, but my first transfer with my new era/ immune testing protocol using: prednisolone, clexane, lubion injections and increasing the amount of estrogen I'm taking, plus changing the timing of my transfer 🤞 x
