I hope you're keeping well! I've got a question regarding vaginal use of utrogestan. I've started the meds Monday eve after egg collection (200mg 3x/ day) and have been feeling sick, nauseous, tired, groggy and heat sensitive. I'm also on daily 0.4ml Clexane injections but I don't think this is causing the problem (not mentioned in the side effects for clexane, but for utrogestan). It's making me rather miserable and I wonder if any of you have had similar experiences and if you found anything that can help (other than discontinuing use)? This would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot for your help! xx

Oh love, unfortunately I've had this pretty much every time I've taken it.... I often then mistake it for a symptom of pregnancy in the 2ww (argh) and it doesn't really stop until you stop taking it. Actually I did find that always having something to drink / snack on helped. I guess similar to if you were pregnant. Sorry to be the bearer of rubbish news! However at least you know to disregard it as a symptom after your transfer.
I hope your egg collection went well and you get some lovely blastos xxx
Thanks lovely for getting back to me! That's a bummer really! At least I know what the cause is!! We have 4 embies now - hoping for good development so we can have them tested, fingers crossed!! xx
All the side affects are just mean! If they aren't making us feel ill they're making us think we are pregnant.....Oh that's great news everything crossed for you xx
Hi DJ. So sorry to hear this. I would definitely have a word with your GP/clinic to see if you can have something to counteract the nausea. You can't continue feling miserable when there is probably something you can have. Good luck! Diane
Thanks a lot Diane! You're right, I can't continue feeling miserable. I've been resting more and drinking more water which has helped. I'm reluctant adding any more meds to the mix as I think my body has been through a lot already!
