Hi everyone.. a quick question. I have some old clots which are unlikely to dissolve now. I am planning a pregnancy soon. I was just wondering has anyone planned a pregnancy with clots still being inside them ? Also what dose on clexane where you on? Thanks....

Hello,

Clexane is weight dependent.

You will need a n APS specialized OBGYN and hematologist working in tandem - starting at least 4 months minimum ( depending what medications you are currently on or have been in in the past year) before trying to conceive.

The very best of luck and health to you!

Huya, your consultant will set your Clexane dosing individually based on weight. It is very important that you direct this question to your main consultant, involved with your future obstetric care, which should be a Haematoloist as well obstetrics. I am sure they can device the best plan for you. Do let us know what they say. MaryF
