Hi everyone, I have been on T3 for 3 months now. I do not see endo until March. he started me on 10mcg of T3 once a day and reduced my T4 by half. 100mcg to 50mcg. I felt well for 2 weeks and then I took a dive. Pains in my legs and bottom of feet, chronic fatigue. headaches, hair more brittle

Intrinsic factor
I seem to be at a sticking point with the findings of the intrinsic factor test. This is due to the way they now interpret the test results. My test result was Au/ml 1.63 ... Which I jumped with joy over as I thought "at last, this proves I have been telling the truth". How wrong I was. It is no longer

PSA rockets up to 344
Hello - I received quite shocking news during my visit to the Mayo Clinic last week. My PSA has jumped to 344 from a low of 3.6 last November, when I completed chemo with cabazitaxel. PSA did start to rise quite soon, into double digits, but this is by far my highest PSA ever. Dr. Kwon recommended

Advice on raising NDT
Following on from my post on 26/02/24, my symptoms got worse (increased number of anxiety attacks and unable to cope with pain in head/neck and upper back) and the GP didn't have any ideas, so I saw a thyroid specialist recommended by thyroid UK in April. The doctor had my blood tests done and these

Lithium damage, need support
Hello everyone, about a year and a half ago my wife (48 years old) had her lithium dosage increased. Since then her EGFR has gone from normal range down to 26-30, depending on the test. Creatinine was high, all other tests normal, no irregular urine results on urine test. She got a biopsy done and it

Cramps day 9 after a day5 transfer
Hi, I just wondered what people’s thoughts on this are. I’m having a flutter of cramps in my tummy this evening and feel like my period is about to start. That same heavy feeling you get and the urge to eat chocolate. Has anyone else had similar cramps and gone on to have a successful pregnancy test

Private specialist recommendation?
I’m not sure if this is allowed? I’m looking for a private Lupus specialist in the Gloucestershire / Wales area. Is there anyone that can be recommended? Despite positive ANA & ANCA my gp says she won’t refer me because other tests were ok and I saw one a few years ago that diagnosed fibromyalgia. Most

Take the sertraline or not?
I’m not doing so well and have nobody to talk to who knows about this stuff. After ongoing problems, the dr has now given me Sertraline. I’m not convinced as I’m sure the whole problem is my thyroid (mentioned before on here, looks like I’m not converting well). I’m seeing a private Endo in three
