Chest Pain & Migraine

Just been told I have emphysema.
Hi, new here, my GP admitted me to hospital last week because she thought I had clots on lung. Had CTPA scan and no clots, and first doctor said chest x-ray was fine apart from more air in lungs than normal. The next day consultant examined me and looked again at x-ray, said there are signs of emphysema

Short of breath & irratic sweats! Oh the fun :)
Seen my consultant yesterday as past 6 months have had worsening shortness of breath and sweats for no reason, both during the day and at night. My bloods remain stable, increasing, but at a predictable rate. I was sent for immediate chest X-ray but no results as yet. Consultant advised that even if

Another update - it looks like I won't be running for a bit longer yet :-(
Remember when I posted to say that I was pleased I'd been diagnosed with acute bronchitis? I had hoped that once that cleared I'd be back running again fairly quickly (well, not the running, 'cos I'm slow :D ). I went to the asthma clinic today. I knew that I hadn't really improved but was a bit shocked

Had my Lung Transplant 3 monthly check up yesterday which included my attempt at the new 6 minute walk, land speed record!! :)
Hi all, kicked off with Height and weight (lost another couple of pounds :) ) Then it was bloods followed by a chest X ray. Now it was time for the record breaking attempt, The doctor connected the sats meter to my finger and the young transplant co-ordinator zeroed the measuring wheel. I had told

Does/Has anyone else suffered from sporadic chest pains?
I have been suffering from random sharp sporadic chest pains in the middle of mychesg and often to the side near the middle of the rib cage. They are very random and more apparent when taking deep breathes and moving suddenly as well as laughing or yawning. I also have been suffering from Tachycardia

Mirena coil and lap questions??
Ive been considering either the pill (
cilest
?) or mirena coil. I just wanted to know, will i be put to sleep for the lap? And can they fit the mirena while I'm a sleep? I have a tilted uterus and haven't heard great things about it being fitted. Would rather be unconscious I think! Xx
