I finished prednisolone on Wednesday after an attack on Tuesday last week, and had another attack yesterday morning! I've been back to my GP and am now on fostair and montelukast (I was previously on fostair with salbutamol as and when). Everything hurts, which I'm guessing is muscular aches and pains

The 'fun' continues. We have moved house, it's great, wonderful, couldn't be more chuffed! Diagnosed with copd/ what melds are people on?
What medications people taking for copd. I have had asthma since 2 years of age and abpa for 13 years. Now have something that showed up in chest x-Ray on lower right lung for 3-4 months and have been diagnosed with copd too. Having cat scan tomorrow too. Am wondering what patients are taking for breathing

Cough after cryoablation
I have seen a couple of references in posts on other things to people having a cough after this. I have had a persitent wheezy cough since my cryoablation which my EP insists is nothing to do with the ablation and he tells me to visit the GP. At one stage it was so bad and accompanied by a stabbing pain

Experiences on Zoely pill?
I was having issues with the pill before I was taking (
cilest
), but with Zoely I'm feeling SO weird - the main thing is absolutely awful anxiety, with heart palpitations and panic attacks.

Pneumonia or Tumor
Hey this is my first post. I'm writing because I've had to go to an urgent care on the weekend because of course my dr office was closed. The first visit they took a chest x Ray and said I had pneumonia, I saw the X-ray and it showed a grapefruit size mass on my right lung. Went back second time for

Anxiety or something else?
How do I convince myself it's anxiety? I just feel like whenever someone says "it is anxiety I get this too and that" I think "yeah but what if for some reason it's not" I keep thinking its my heart even tho this has been happening for 8 months now so I should be confident it's not coz if it was I'd

X-RAY and CT: still can't diagnose!
I am an asthmatic who started to experience severe breathlessness about 4 months ago. Never experienced the like before. Inhalers didn't help ... Chest x-ray showed abnormalities and CT confirmed that but my consultant (who is very nice and helpful), phoned the other day to tell me that he and two colleagues

Newly diagnosed
Hi. I'm new here. I developed Raynauds in January this year followed quickly by swollen and tightening skin on my hands. I think my Dr thought I had Lupus. I had problems with my knees too. Bloods including ANA were done but I was referred to Rheumatolgy at that initial appoint. I saw the specialist

Hospital day adventures, part 1.
Thats the North Middlesex leg of the day done and dusted. In there for over 3 hours, most of it just waiting around, as you do. First appointment had to be rescheduled. They couldn't do my lung function tests because of my recent infection, and they wouldn't get a 'true' reading. Whatever that means

Swollen lymph nodes in armpit. Anyone else out there experienced this?
Hi everyone Well after a beautiful six weeks of feeling g well on methodrexate and putting all my worries behind me I saw the consultant today. This was great as I usually see the registrar but this guy is very esteemed and has been a consultant for years. We went through everything and as an afterthought

I am now 5 weeks post cardiac ablation and for the past two weeks have suffered with breathing problems and a dry, non-productive cough. I saw my PCP last week and he put me on Medrol for a 6 day period. I also had a chest x-ray which showed nothing. Today I saw my regular cardiologist (not my EP), and
