I am a New Yorker and have just read the article a second time in your behalf. It is very long and sympathetic, and tells of many of the remedies we have already tried, and of one that is experimental. At age 79, I don't expect relief in my lifetime. (Afterward, yes.) It is illegal to repost, but I am thinking about doing so. But you haven't missed much.
