Endo and Chronic pain

The pain you are probably feeling is reflected pain from nerves and inflammation. Fatigue can cause similar feelings.
Though Endometriosis like mine is in my whole trunk which is rare my lungs in around 30yr which would bleed. I still get back pain, a heavy ache like in the lungs which probably is inflammation. Always have inflammation markers in blood tests still high white count.
Hey, I have exactly the same too. I’ve been to the drs about it and said it can definitely be caused by the inflammation. However, they have run blood tests to make sure it’s not anything else and I turned out to be anaemic and low on vitamin D so maybe ask for some bloods running and see where you get with that. I’m going to go back in a month to have them repeated. X
Do not assume that endo is responsible for your general pain. I had endo and it was Painful. I has an hysterectomy which stopped that pain but the general pain remained. It was linked to athritis and also a bladder problem. It is wise to go to the doctor and have a thorough check up. It is all too easy to assume that one thing is causing another. It was only when I went to the doctor because of a skin rash that the doctor noticed that I had undiagnosed arthritis in my neck. A lot of the pain was coming from there.
I don’t have any answers but I can offer some solidarity I am at the start of my Endo journey despite being mid 40s ( my pain has always been dismissed and I am waiting for a laparoscopy). But I’m convinced I have Endo. I also have chronic pain in my arms and hands. I think a lot of this is to do with inflammation in my body because I know that cold swimming hugely helps my other chronic pain, and I know my body is hugely inflamed from Endo (but have been too scared to try cold swimming for Endo because some people say cold can make period cramps worse so there is conflicting info!). Anyway, I have spotted a book on another thread that I am going to try: Heal Endo: An Anti-Inflammatory Approach to Healing from Endometriosis, by Kate Edmonds. Maybe it’s worth a look. Good luck x
