Update on pleurisy (neck injury)
Hi all I posted on here the other day that I have pleurisy, but after seeing another doctor as well as calling an ambalance out in the early hours of thurs morn I have now been told it’s a neck injury, I’m in agony when I move, cannot lay on that side. Don’t remember hurting it, but had a niggling pain

Neck and muscle pain and feel spaced out despite increase in Levothyroxine
Hi I’m at my wits end with this thyroid journey, I’m currently away on holiday (Whitby) and I’m desperate to feel normal and enjoy myself. Some of my thyroid symptoms have disappeared, but, I’m still suffering major neck and muscle stiffness, hair loss and feeling spaced out. I saw my GP last week

Severe back pain
Has anyone else had severe back pain since childbirth? And what have you done to treat it? My baby is nearly 9 months. Maternity pay has ended and my GP said I need to go private if I want to see a chiropractor but I can't afford it with no income :(

My PMR Journey
I was diagnosed last September 2017 and started on 20mg of prednisone. I think I’ve had PMR longer though. My rheumatologist had me down to 6mg prednisone now. I was really hurting so I tried dry needling and a chiropractor. My rheumatologist said I had seronegative inflammatory arthritis because my

Dr Melody Keller on the LDN Radio Show 11th July 2018
Dr. Keller was raised mostly in the Seattle area and is the oldest of her family, with one sister and one brother. I was homeschooled for much of elementary school up until I went to college my junior and senior year of high school, thanks to a quick start program available through the state. After that

Spina Bifida Occulta
Last week I went, with my 10 year old son, to the chiropractor because he has had a aching knee for a couple of weeks. After a quick examination, she asked whether his Spina Bifida Occulta had caused him any problems. At which point you could have picked me up off the floor. She could obviously see

Does it take 2 years to be diagnosed correctly, about anything medical? Do you have atypical symptoms?
Hello. I am wondering if because I have Hughes Syndrome, that illnesses I have been through seem to present themselves in atypical ways? For instance, I had severe endometriosis that started on my bowel. 2 years for correct diagnosis. I had 3 major strokes but they did not present with the typical -warning

Rocking sensation UPDATE
***I posted this post below about 4 months ago. Since then my MRI and VNG test came back normal. My ENT said it’s most likely “migraine associated vertigo” but wants to do an allergy test and to maybe try vestibular therapy. Before doing that I visited a well respected chiropractor who told me maybe

W7R1 - slow and steady won the day
I've also got my 8-weekly
chiropractic
treatment tomorrow. Last time I saw him I'd only just worked up to swimming 3x a week, and I was over a stone heavier than now - quite some change! Enjoy your running this week everyone!

Can PC patients get new mets with a non detectable PSA
I have a question for the brilliant minds on this site. I had three mets (2-pelvis and 1-rib) found about 10 months ago after my PSA started rising again. After four chemo sessions, 9 months of lupron prednisone and Zytega and radiation on the three mets, my psa is now .02. However, since my fourth Lupron

ON MY MIND
I should add that I have tried massage,
chiropractic
, accupuncture, dorsal rami injections and radiofrequency cold nerve ablation for chronic back pain; nothing worked longer than 10 days.

I had eight

Target reached second day in a row.
I'll be having a 2 day rest now, as I've just had my monthly
chiropractic
treatment, but I'm going to really try to keep up the 4000 steps next week!

It's not an MS hug
