Out tomorrow!
Happy Sunday everyone! It's dark and rainy but I'm itching to get out! I was at the chiropractor on Friday and it took a little while to get my spine put back in alignment. The upshot is I was told not to do anything physical till Monday, or it could pop out again! So I've cleaned out my wardrobe and

Anyone else have no issues with periods? (fatigue, back pain, high iron)
Hi I've had a real run around with my diagnosis. As far as I can tell, I'm not a typical endo sufferer. And sunsets if anyone can relate to my experiences. My health issues started about 4 years ago, the main thing has always been severe fatigue, to the point now where I can't work. I also had severe

13 weeks and counting, Second bout of BP
Electrical stim, vitamins, massage, ice, heat, acupuncture and
chiropractic
adjustments have been my weapons of choice with no relief from any of it. Family, friends and co-workers have been great but it only goes so far, they say it looks better, but I see myself and hear myself.

Sometimes starting over with a new gp can give a fresh perspective.
Like most of us on this site, we have been flipped through the medical community with endless tests and no answers. I found out accidentally from a CT that I had a defect at L4 L5 and a grade 3 hernia. Drs would ask me if my back hurt and when I said “no” they just focused on the rectal pain. I finally

Chiropractor for sciatica?
Dear All, Last Christmas my husband strained his back and it has not got better despite ongoing physiotherapy. We don't know if he has "slipped" a disk as the doctors' view is that he should continue with physio and pain control (which has not so far been very effective). A lot of friends have recommended

Sternum Pain
I’ve been having constant sternum pain for the past few months. I have acid reflux but this doesn’t feel like that. My sternum cracks a lot and feels tight. It also feels inflamed at times and is painful to touch. It hurts to lay down. My chiropractor recently popped a rib back into place last week but

Pain with Fibromyalgia and other problems.

Posture
Chiropractic
adjustments have helped a lot but I still get AF occasionally. My heart rate becomes problematic when I stress my back in some way or maintain poor posture for too long. Staying on a computer or similar device for too long will do it.

Please can anyone recommend supports and tips for preventing sciatica when getting on/off the loo and in/out of the car?
Hello, A relative is suffering from crippling sciatica (left leg from bottom down) which she has now for a year. She tries to keep straight and not bend over, all day, to help prevent daily attacks. The car and bathroom (especially standing up from the loo) are the worst triggers, leaving her unable

Has anyone tried a good chiropractor?
I’ve recently been going to a chiropractor on a regular (bi-weekly) basis and I’ve experienced such a massive difference in my pain levels. It’s like pure relief for me, especially in my shoulders and neck. Just wondering if anyone else has tried and what their experience is?

Now what??
Just been to see sports massage about 1. My back pain despite seeing a chiropractor for last 2 years, wanted a second opinion and 2. New heel pain since upping running distance. Outcome- it’s not my back as such, it’s my extreme flat feet and misaligned pelvis. Action- No running or jumping for at least

Books Written By Parkinson’s “Experts” Are Like Bad Lawn Mower Manuals
I really appreciate this site with all of you caring people offering helpful, realistic advice. Maybe I’m just bitter, but I just read a book by a well known neurologist and came away almost disgusted. It’s as if I have a broken lawn mower and consulted his “manual” for advice — only to learn he doesn
