I just went to a chiropractor who calls himself A functional neurology specialist. Besides the fact that he told me it was all in my head. Even though I gave him medical papers, he then proceeded to tell me that I have an upside down tree in my body and the branches of the trees are causing me to have

Some Tentative Good News
I'm hesitant to jinx things but I've spoken several times on the forum about my battles over the last two years with dizziness and severe balance issues. Which literally came on overnight. Was diagnosed with Vestibular Migraine which I've never really accepted, I think the Neurologist and ENT consultant

6 MONTH PMR UPDATE
My last update was 6 months ago. Since then, I have tapered 100% off of prednisone. My inflammation markers have normalized. I have been turned over to my primary care provider from Rheumatology. I have went back to work part-time without issue. Despite my theory it was my infected tooth that caused

2 years with constant headache and muscle pain
My girlfriend has been struggling with a constant headache for 2 years now. It's accompanied by muscle pain in the neck and shoulders. It's taking its toll, mentally, emotionally, and financially. We've seen so any doctors both private and on the NHS. We've tried Botox, acupuncture, prolozone therapy

Gallbladder
Hi EveryoneIn 2014 my husband had the valve and 3 bypass op, recovered well. December 2019 had a heart attack and subsequent stent. September 2022 started with gallbladder pains but due to his previous ops there was considerable delay getting it removed. Delay that caused so much infection only half

Trying to help my brother
He visits 3 or 4 practioners a week for injections for migraines, for back pain,
chiropractic
adjustments, accupressure etc. We have tried to think of everything and anything that might help him. Every time he feels any stress, he gets a headache.

Annoyed!
After my previous post “Is this PMR or something else?” I went for another chiropractor appointment for my arm. Apparently it is a trapped nerve in my neck. A lot of manipulation which initially made it feel worse , but since then is slowly improving. An ice pack helps! Today I had a telephone appointment

In the summer, I noticed sporadic noises in one ear. It only happened at night, when lying down to sleep. It was almost like a deep and faint squeak. It lasted 2 days and went away. Months later, after developing a sinus cold, it returned. I did not react immediately as I thought it would pass. After

vertigo and tapering prednisone
Good morning from Michigan, Yesterday morning I went to get out of bed and vertigo struck. I had vertigo last year at this same time. But this year before the vertigo I have suffered with stomach pains and big bout of diarrhea. Could this be do to my taking from 8-7.5 mg of prednisone? I’m calling

Help needed -- direction of travel
I am an active 79 year old located down in the pointy end of Cornwall, UK. I have led a healthy life except for the onset of Atrial Fibrillation at 65 (2010) and at 71 (2015), the onset of osteoarthritis in right knee. This is now just beginning to affect left knee but is all manageable at this stage

Sisters Sciatica Pain and Prednisone
My 89 year old sister had her second appt with a chiropractor and appears to feel better after her session with him. When I reached out to her this am, she was really hurting and didn't sleep well. But, after her session with the Chiro at 2, she was able to walk on her own for a bit around the grocery

Visit to Kinesiologist
I visited a Kinesiologist just under a month ago on the advice of my chiropractor. I felt rather uncertain when I saw the Himalayan Salt lamp and was enveloped in the consciously calm atmosphere of the waiting room but I did get help. This is the first time anything has really reduced my fatigue so am

Spinal stenosis
Hi, I am quite new here so unsure how it all works. I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, bulging disc, fibro, nerve damage, problems in my knees . I knew about the disc whilst working but saw a chiropractor twice a year & kept fit walking. I'm now unable to work since my back went in 2020. Sciatica

Using a chiropractor to help with pmr
Had a lot of neck issues with pmr and sometimes after playing golf it would lock up for days. Been seeing a Mctimoney chiropractor, very gentle, no heavy manipulation. Lots of simple exercises to keep neck centered and free from stiffness. Makes driving the car easier at junctions. She is now working

Can bacterial infections cause this?
In March this year (2023) I started to feel very ill and at the same time a pain in my left hip/leg started so I was hobbling back n forth to the bedroom! In May I went to the doctor and was sent for endo/colonoscopy. I was diagnosed with a stomach and kidney infection. At the end of September I finished
