Pinched nerve, disk neck issue

Hi All,

I had an accident 10 years ago guy hit my neck with his knee. I was in my 20s then and after few massages chiropractor adjustments and it went away. I did MRI results back then don't remember them.

After covid sitting home and some work\labor (i did lifting, ladder carrying one shoulder, heavy backpack and stuff) Also 2 years ago I had small car accident and I fell in the park on ice, My symptoms started coming back my neck started getting stiff I ignored it and then eventually i got a pinched nerve in neck.

Now I redid MRI after 10 years and I have Posterior Bulge at the C4-c5 , C5-C6 and C6-C7. This year Every doctor chiro said to me that its not bad but Yet I am struggling for months now with this issue. I have been having this issue for a full year now. I have pinched nerve on right side (which is cousin supposedly cervical Rediculopathy thats what nerve test showed) FYI I have big knot on left upper trapp, it goes from my spine all the way to my shoulder. I don't know if that is upper trapezius myofascial or what. Anyway, I dont feel like this is Cervical Rediculopathy because that should be going into my arm, yet I have pain going into my right leg and my legs are radiating(neuropathy) when pinching happens. I do have a bad posture and my left shoulder where the knot is probably cracking in 3 places when i move it around. I have been doing physical therapy for 2 months now but its not helping maybe it helped a little bit. He did deep tissue massages which I really didnt like mayde me supper sore and didn't release that knot. I tried acupuncture and chiropractor adjustments. Which adjustments maybe help sometimes for few days and then back to pinching.

My question is it the trapp knot reason why pinching happens or pinching reason why upper trapp knot happens? What should I be treading ? I know that when i take magnesium or skullcap or relax my muscles any possible way all my muscles relax except that knot which feels like its pulling my neck and pinching my nerve( and when nerve pinches my SCM get tight is so overworked by now) .

Is this maybe because of upper cross syndrome or trapezius myofascial? Maybe something else or maybe pinched nerve is cousing my muscle tight and that knot. I attached photo of my neck knot and X where pinched nerve is.

Sorry for my language its not perfect.

Please Help I don't know what to do anymore I started getting anxiety and stress because of this and don't know what to do anymore.

thanks,

G

sorry to hear about your neck injuries. I have cervical radiaculpathy,I can’t spell it either, due to osteoarthritis. These are pinched nerves in neck. I was told to see a neurologist they work with nerve issues. You are young and might benefit from seeing one if you haven’t yet. It seems like you are trying everything to help yourself. I wish I had more info. Feel better

hi, have you tried an osteopath? Just a suggestion as they deal with muscle and bone and maybe able to manipulate it! Good luck. Kevin

hi there I had a fall and slipped a disc at c6/c7, I ended up with that being replaced. However I still have an ongoing issue with a trapped nerve also which I get treatment for from an osteopath, I’m very fortunate as she does acupuncture too which really does help. I saw a shoulder consultant who said there is no cure for trapped nerves other than regular pt to strengthen the muscles in turn to support the shoulder better, so far so good! Sadly the pain/issue in your leg is unlikely related and may suggest an issue in your lumbar spine. Hang in there and keep us updated with your progress ☺️
