vertigo and tapering prednisone
Good morning from Michigan, Yesterday morning I went to get out of bed and vertigo struck. I had vertigo last year at this same time. But this year before the vertigo I have suffered with stomach pains and big bout of diarrhea. Could this be do to my taking from 8-7.5 mg of prednisone? I’m calling

Help needed -- direction of travel
I am an active 79 year old located down in the pointy end of Cornwall, UK. I have led a healthy life except for the onset of Atrial Fibrillation at 65 (2010) and at 71 (2015), the onset of osteoarthritis in right knee. This is now just beginning to affect left knee but is all manageable at this stage

Sisters Sciatica Pain and Prednisone
My 89 year old sister had her second appt with a chiropractor and appears to feel better after her session with him. When I reached out to her this am, she was really hurting and didn't sleep well. But, after her session with the Chiro at 2, she was able to walk on her own for a bit around the grocery

Visit to Kinesiologist
I visited a Kinesiologist just under a month ago on the advice of my chiropractor. I felt rather uncertain when I saw the Himalayan Salt lamp and was enveloped in the consciously calm atmosphere of the waiting room but I did get help. This is the first time anything has really reduced my fatigue so am

Spinal stenosis
Hi, I am quite new here so unsure how it all works. I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, bulging disc, fibro, nerve damage, problems in my knees . I knew about the disc whilst working but saw a chiropractor twice a year & kept fit walking. I'm now unable to work since my back went in 2020. Sciatica

Using a chiropractor to help with pmr
Had a lot of neck issues with pmr and sometimes after playing golf it would lock up for days. Been seeing a Mctimoney chiropractor, very gentle, no heavy manipulation. Lots of simple exercises to keep neck centered and free from stiffness. Makes driving the car easier at junctions. She is now working

Can bacterial infections cause this?
In March this year (2023) I started to feel very ill and at the same time a pain in my left hip/leg started so I was hobbling back n forth to the bedroom! In May I went to the doctor and was sent for endo/colonoscopy. I was diagnosed with a stomach and kidney infection. At the end of September I finished

Adult Degenerative Scoliosis
I have suffered from increasing pain in my back and legs since a fall in November 2021 when I fractured my left humerus in 3 places. I have had Polymyalgia Rheumatica since January 2021 and at first it was thought my pain was due to this. Eventually in July 2022 my GP agreed to send me for an XRay of

knee replacement
Hi. I’ve had both knees replaced twice over the last 16 years. The key things I’ve found are 1) physio. If ur lucky to get on nhs great but def worth paying for if you can. I wasn’t walking straight after last op and was told I needed to strengthen side leg muscles. Just straight leg raises laying sideways

Rib cage structure suddenly starting to break up! Cannot lie on back anymore, just on side with various pillows! Osteoporosis pigeon chest!
Ribs dislocate freely now, when I move in bed, rather disconcerting when getting out of bed, ribs almost scream just to get back into some sort of order, right across sternum in and out of joint, now affecting breathing, local Health Centre "can't do anything more for you!" when they inspect me! Have

Race Report - Southern Athletics League , Brighton Match 19/08/2023
Thank you to Sue for reminding me to get this report written. 😅👍 Saturday 19th and yet another race day is upon me. The calendar has been busy and it’s about to ramp up further too. The big problem with having so many races is trying to fit in standard training routines such as visiting the gym

Body Shutdown
Therefore, after using the bathroom I attempted to go back down the stairs because I had a
chiropractic
appointment. As I approach the top of the stairs it looked impossible for me to make it. I eventually attempted but realized my legs weren't moving!

Have you been misdiagnosed? I might have been.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s approximately four years ago by two different neurologists. I noticed the first symptoms two years before that. So I am into my sixth year with Parkinson’s. I have managed to treat my symptoms through natural solutions, including: - An intense focus on finding a diet
