Anxiously awaiting test results...
I had a
chest
X
Ray
which was normal, and I’ve got an abdominal ultrasound next month - and I’m sure that’ll come back normal too... My feeling is that this episode was a potential ‘flare up’, but its not something I’ve ever had to that extent before, so I don’t know.

I'm new here but read the posts all the time
My husband was diagnosed in May of 2018 with metastis to the bone. He was on zytiga with great response to it but his liver said no so he is now on xtandi. I'm guessing it is normal to have a hard time enjoying food ,everything tastes like metal, some foods worse then others. The really odd thing now

Scared about ARVC
Ten years later and its dawned on me that i've not really had proper tests for ARVC, the anxiety has got the better of me and I went to the local ED with palpitations, ECG and
chest

were clear, though I mentioned the ARVC risk and i've been referred for a Echocardiogram and 24 hour ECG.

That came back normal, so now Dr wants to just do a
chest

in 1 year. MO still says she doesn't thing it's related to his PC?? By the way, he has never smoked. My CONCERN is, why is MO so adamant "it's not related"??

Chest

Sleep Study
I’d had a
chest
X
-
ray
that day and was subsequently diagnosed with bronchitis but I didn’t know about it that night. I was coughing quite a bit. I feel like I sleep quite well most nights and never have trouble with sleepiness during the day so sleep apnea was not an obvious possibility.

Having a grim time of things...
Am now in A and E awaiting blood test results and
chest
X
-
ray
result. As I have some
chest
discomfort I may be admitted to the hospital. Possible 3 hour wait to see the doctor for a discussion as this is Friday night. Main worry at the moment is the AF have gone permanent.

Asthma question
They run various tests like spiromettry, ECG, 24 hr Holter monitor,
chest
X
Ray
, echocardiography, CT scan and one another test which check for any blood clots in the lungs ( I forgot name of the test). All these came back normal. My oxygen saturation was good.

Learning to accept panic attacks
They did blood work, EKG, and
chest
x

ray
. Everything came back normal. They said I might have been having a panic attack. I threw the idea out. I wasn’t stressed about anything at the time it occurred. Recently it has been happening more.

Bagpipes and A&E
She requested a urine sample and a
chest
x

ray
to rule out an infection, when they were clear they were asked to organise/request an ultrasound (main arteries) and upped my pred to 45 daily ufn. Expect to hear something tomorrow... Learning points. 1. Keep your meds and blue card up to date. 2.

How safe are chest x-rays?
Some years ago a GP recommended I have a
chest
x
-
ray
every 2 years as I used to work with dust containing a small percentage of asbestos but my new GP dismissed this and told me I'd be more at risk from the exposure to radiation.

High Heart Rate
I also had a
chest
x
-
ray
around that time. I recently have had an EKG and blood work done, maybe two weeks ago. Also normal. My blood pressure normally is about 115/65, and during an anxiety attack it can go up to 135/85. Should I be worried enough to get an echocardiogram?
