Managing Burnout
My husband was recently diagnosed with PSP, which comes on the tail of a stage 4 cancer diagnosis (he's in remission as of now). We're both already deep into burnout country. For two years, his PSP symptoms were masked or excused as side effects of his chemo/remission drugs, but as they worsened, they

Rising PSA with little shown on PSMA PET
Greetings all. I've been on this forum for years. I've only commented a handful of times, and never made a post. I prefer to usually just read from the sidelines. First of all, a bit about my path thus far. I was diagnosed in May 2010 (age 49) (PSA 4.7 and Gleason 7), had radical surgery in July 2010

PALB2 Stage 4 A prostate cancer treatment plan.
My Partner has stage 4A prostate cancer spread to the nodules and has the PALB2 gene. How effective is internal and external radiation and ADT as the first line of treatment? Why can't the drs start with PARP inhibitors and chemo which is the standard of care as a second line treatment? Is it because

research summary?
Some asked about my own feelings about the most exciting fields in oncology which could bring results. I should take a long moment to sit and summarize all the papers and also to check the moves of bit pharma companies...but right now I cannot (but I might use some AI to do the job soon!). But for not

Hello - I'm about to return to the Mayo for the first review since my previous visit last November. As I've reported here, my last major treatment was chemo with cabazitaxel at the Oncology Center in Nicosia, Cyprus, where I live. This was successful: PSA fell from 83 at the start of chemo to about 3

How many treatments of Chemo can the body handle
I have had 7 cycles of docetaxel and 3 of cabazitaxel. The oncologist wants to continue with another 7 cycles of cabazitaxel. My question is how much of this poison can the body handle. Does this chemo destroy things permanently in the body. I know that the fatigue is taking over. I couldn't run
