SpaceOar
I went to the UNM Cancer Center for the SpaceOar injection on Monday. This was because my local hospital cancer doesn’t do the procedure. If it wasn’t for the 120 miles round-trip drive I would have selected the UNM Cancer Center for my radiation treatment as it was 39 zaps. Similarly, if it wasn't 750

Just found out I have cysts on both my ovaries after having a miscarriage at 7 weeks has anyone else experienced this.
Hi I miscarried the other week and when I went for the scan to ensure everything had gone I was told I needed a internal scan and then I was told I had 2 cysts on one ovary and another on the other. Two are over 2 cm and the other just under 2 cm. I was not told much other than I needed a smear and

New and feeling anxious
I’ve developed a pea sized lump next to my clitoris and the area is sore and itchy, I know it’s not thrush. I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow for my smear and to look at the lump. I know it’s probably nothing to worry about but in the last fortnight I’ve also been recalled for further investigation

Please help, worried about all sorts, 15 years old
Hi everyone, Recently I’ve been extremely worried about the symptoms I’ve been having and I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light onto it. I'm a 15 year old female with no health problems, relatively healthy eating and exercise usually, don't smoke or drink. So a couple of months ago, I

Hi Everyone, I’m new here so don’t know anybody, but wishing you all well wherever you are in your journeys. This is long so thank you in advance if you manage to read. We’re in a cycle now, its been a big journey to get to this place and I’m now 45! We originally started trying 7 years ago, and have

Smear test help!
Hi all. Yesterday I had another smear test. First was inconclusive because I bled too much as soon as she swabbed (like I knew I would!) well same thing happened again 🙄 she said it wasn’t as bad as last time but still a fair bit. I asked what happens if it comes back unclear again and she said I’ve

Finally a diagnosis
I finally got the results from the kidney biopsy. It showed I have Membranous Nephropathy.. Unfortunately I also have something that only 5%of these patients get.. I also have Segmental Crescentic Glomerulopathy.. The pathologist sent a smear from the kidney biopsy out today to test for Wegener's Granulomatosis

No Period, Intermittent Spotting, Cancer Fear!
Hey ladies, So I was DX with PCOS around 18 months/2 years ago but suspect I've had it a good few years just that being on the pill masked the symptoms. Around a year or so ago I started spotting between periods. Sometimes it would be around the time I should be ovulating, other times the day before

Doctors should avoid saying ‘cancer’ for minor lesions – study
The Guardian has posted an article on use of the word "cancer" - and specifically questions use of the term for some thyroid cancers. I'd very much appreciate

Has anybody ever had a very small orange rectal leakage with gas? My interest told me it's nothing to concern about as it is diet related. I wondered if using Prep.H ointment a lot may cause this. It is a veryyy small little smear of neon orange on toilet paper if I pass gas.. Gosh I hope someone can
