Had difficulty getting an appointment, had difficulty getting treatment, had difficulty as your doctor has not been attended training on your issues - this might be why... It has been another one of those weeks and I was on my GP's website trying to find a way of contacting them as I had no luck making

Retroverted Uterus and mirena coil??? Help
Has anyone had a mirena coil fitted with a retro verted uterus? I've been told to go to a specialist to have it done as it's more complicated just a bit worried about the pain? I've been told I can request a local anesthetic? I sound like a whimp but with my endo smear tests absolutely kill and I'm thinking

Vegifem and Pelvic Pain
I am taking Vegifem for vaginal dryness but i am experiencing extreme pain in the pelvic region. Is this normal ? I am post menopausal and went for a routine smear test to be told I had Vaginal Atrophy.

Hi all, many thanks to those who have shared my poster via facebook, it's not brilliant but it does some of the job I hope. As some have rightly said, a C125 does not also give a correct diagnosis on it's own alas :-(. What i have also learnt is that so many women out there are doing a fantastic job

Well don't want to get too Giddy but have just received a reply from my local paper as it looks like they have agreed to do a feature on Ovarian Cancer! did try the National's but no luck yet! :-) Think I may anger some in the Health profession as when I question why there is very little awareness and

The hello is to all you lovely ladies who have had/have Ovarian cancer, the goodbye is hopefully to my own ovarian cancer! I had my op on sept 5th in Leeds after being diagnosed at stage 1b in July . Following my total abdominal hysterectomy i was told it had been in both ovaries and was stage 2b (13cm

Sjogrens anyone?
I've just been to the optician as I have had really sore gritty eyes for a few weeks. He says I'm not making enough tears and the normal time for a tear smear on the eyeball to last is about 16 seconds and mine is only lasting half that. He's given me a letter to take to my gp to get eye gel for through

Wasting my time getting a lap?
Hi everyone, I am 24 and having my first lap on Monday. I have had really pad periods since my first at 11, they have made me throw up, faint and at times black out from pain. My first gynae dissuaded me from getting a lap at 17 and just changed my pill as she felt I was too young it it was unlikely

Help and Advice, please!
Hi All, to keep a short version, I haven’t been feeling well since June this year and I also had the same symptoms towards the end of 2012 followed by a Sinus Infection in Dec 2012. I’ve experienced palpitations for 4/5 years now on and off but these seem to have been a regular occurrence since June

Second lap found no endo but some adhesions. Need some advice please!! Sorry it's so long!!
I was diagnosed with endo 2001 by a lap with also a fluid sac within my tubes & poss pcos. Afterwards I was put on Zoladex injections for 6 months and then had Ivf in 2004 which helped me to have my twin boys who are now 9. My pain was a lot better initially but my cycle was anything between 21 & 60

What are the real risks of having treatment for abnormal cells on the cervix?
I've had countless problems with pain/periods for years and was finally diagnosed with endo last year. I recently had a colposcopy where they found abnormal cells on my cervix. I had no treatment at the time as I had never had a smear test before and the nurse wanted to do one and get the results back

Heavy periods and bleeding between periods on the mirena coil and the combined pill.
Hi everyone, I had the mirena coil fitted in December 2011 due to heavy irregular periods I was told to expect it to take 3-6 months to take full effect. After 6 months there wasn't any improvement so I went to see my gp who prescribed me the combined pill to take as well as having the coil. My gp said

Any advice please: Could I possibly have endo?
Hi, I haven't been getting anywhere with this so thought it might be a good idea to ask some people that have experience first hand themselves. I have pains in my left side, I've been getting them for so long, they increase towards my period where I am in so much pain I can hardly move, I couldn't stand
