Please help, worried about all sorts, 15 years old
Hi everyone, Recently I’ve been extremely worried about the symptoms I’ve been having and I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light onto it. I'm a 15 year old female with no health problems, relatively healthy eating and exercise usually, don't smoke or drink. So a couple of months ago, I

We’re in a cycle now, its been a big journey to get to this place and I’m now 45! We originally started trying 7 years ago, and have

Smear test help!
Hi all. Yesterday I had another smear test. First was inconclusive because I bled too much as soon as she swabbed (like I knew I would!) well same thing happened again 🙄 she said it wasn’t as bad as last time but still a fair bit. I asked what happens if it comes back unclear again and she said I’ve

Finally a diagnosis
I finally got the results from the kidney biopsy. It showed I have Membranous Nephropathy.. Unfortunately I also have something that only 5%of these patients get.. I also have Segmental Crescentic Glomerulopathy.. The pathologist sent a smear from the kidney biopsy out today to test for Wegener's Granulomatosis

No Period, Intermittent Spotting, Cancer Fear!
Hey ladies, So I was DX with PCOS around 18 months/2 years ago but suspect I've had it a good few years just that being on the pill masked the symptoms. Around a year or so ago I started spotting between periods. Sometimes it would be around the time I should be ovulating, other times the day before

Doctors should avoid saying ‘cancer’ for minor lesions – study
The Guardian has posted an article on use of the word "cancer" - and specifically questions use of the term for some thyroid cancers. I'd very much appreciate

It is a veryyy small little smear of neon orange on toilet paper if I pass gas.. Gosh I hope someone can

I had my blood test results. It says Persistent lymphocytosis, some smear cells, suspected LPD/CLL, refer haematology. Reactive lymphocytes seen in moderate numbers. WCC 14.9 Lymphocyte count 8.5.... ? My dad and his brother died of a type of leukaemia and I’ve been found to have an excessive amount

Going out of my mind and hit a all time low.
Hysteroscopy showed benign fibroids and cyst, smear normal...so why a CA125 at 785 and rising. My Gynae is mystified and it has taken my pushing for anyone to consider further investigation. Now in for a CT of the abdomen which I really don't want after many many x-rays over the years and the risk

Moved up scans
I was diagnosed w MBC at 46 yo January 30. This was after BC cells were found on my Pap smear. I was having irregular spotting. Started zolodex to put me into menopause in February. I started xgeva, Ibrance and letrozole in April. My regular oncologist must be on vacation because she wasn’t there

Copper coil
Posting my experiences of my recent copper coil fitting (last week) as I found it useful reading everyone's experiences of it. First of all remember that everyone will react slightly differently to it. My GP was very knowledgeable referring to her own personal experience with the copper coil and I think
