Post-ablation (just out)
So if you are going to have a
catheter
ablation
; do not worry! Mine was done under sedation and when I went in, I couldn’t stop my legs from shaking so they gave me something to calm me down (and it worked straight away).

Catheter ablation
I have just had a
catheter
ablation
for the first time, which was on Monday the 17th of September. I'm led to believe that my palpitations could carry on for a while after my procedure as i have woken up this morning with them and still have them 7 hours later.

Due for an EP Study and Catheter ablation, And I'm kind of terrified!
Ok so to cut a long story short, After being diagnosed last week with Wolf-Parkinsson White syndrome, The doctor has put me in to have and EP Study and
catheter
ablation
in 4-6 weeks. I'm so worried as I just feel it's all going to go wrong, And I'm terrified of hospitals to boot.

Ablation One year on
In 2017 I had a hybrid
ablation
; a mini-maze in April and an RF
catheter
ablation
in October. The first stage isolated the pulmonary veins, the ligament of Marshall, and blocked off the Left Atrial Appendage.

Wolff Parkinson White - SVT - Untreatable.
Her surgeon has said that it’s a complex case with her pathway running from the inside of the heart epicardially - making it virtually impossible to treat using
catheter
ablation
, and at present, there’s nothing else they can do without advances in medical technology.

ADENOMYOSIS PAIN help
Doctor thinks I have Adenomyosis too, I am 44, 1 vaginal birth, tubal ligation and Novasure Endometrial Ablation in 2015. I had the ablation due to heavy abnormal bleeding. I have not had a period since then, which is great, BUT this pain that I have been experiencing the past year for up to 2 weeks

Using own heart monitor for the three months immediately after catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation
Having had my third Ablation for fibrillation yesterday which I have to be optimistic will have stopped my AF for good. I am now in a dilemma as to whether to continue to use my trusted Kardia Alivecor heart monitor: once a day or so; occasionally; or put it aside for 3 months because I know this is

Endometrial Ablation Caused Issues?
Two years ago I had a ablation done due to horrendous periods ,it worked not one period since. Now though I'm thinking in light of recent problems if this procedures caused the abnormalities. I've been digging round on the internet and it seams that ablations can cause serious problems long term, more

Ablation tomorrow
Hey guys, I’m scheduled to have a RF cardiac ablation tomorrow for PSVT and I thought I’d create a post here. I’ve had the condition since I was in my teens and now 12 years later, I decided to opt for the ablation. The irony is I haven’t had any episodes in the last few months (I’ve had the odd flutter

Frustrated!
So 5 months after my av node ablation and pacemaker fitted I’d just managed to get fit enough to walk up and down gentle hills feeling really good. Best I had In 10 years. Then 3 weeks ago I slipped in the rain onto some tiles broke my pelvis and chipped my humerus. I am just getting around now slowly

Complex Ocular Migraines After Catheter Cryoballoon Ablation for A Fib and SVT
I had
catheter
cryoballoon
ablation
3 weeks ago. The 2 days after the procedure, as well as 2 other times since then, I have had a total of 4 ocular migraines. Again, I went a year without a single migraine and I had never experienced an ocular migraine prior to my ablation procedure.

Pacemaker and Mammogram
I had a pacemaker fitted last year and AV node ablation in May. I have just had a reminder that I am due for a mammogram. I mentioned to my GP that I was concerned it or the wires may get damaged, as I’ve had the AV node ablated, I didn’t like the prospect of something going wrong. She didn’t seem to

AV node ablation
Just heard that when you have the node ablation they do not totally destroy the av node but leave it capable of some function. Is this true ?.
